Zabak's Mediterranean Cafe

Today on Jan. 28, 2022 my best friend and I went to eat here after car shopping because we were in the mood for some Greek food! So ofc googled Greek food near me and they popped up so we went. It is a mom and pop place that is so welcoming! The owners were super helpful and just so kind! Like they genuinely were great people! The food was delicious!!! Omgah it was so good like that was the best gyro ever! Just everything about it was sooo good! So in all 10/10 best Greek food. — from the H‑E‑B orchid girl! ? thank you for being such a great place! Def coming back again.

Visiting from out of town and discovered this place. The food was excellent and the customer services was top notch. We will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

So if falafel is on the menu I get it, I’ve had a lot of of it. I’ve watched a friend’s mom make it right in front of me. The falafel here was better then that. Staff was super nice.

Zabaks is the place that easily become a place of comfort, family, and home. The owners, the employees, and their delicious Mediterranean food stands out amidst the sea of restaurants on Westheimer. Next time you’re searching through reviews on restaurants, please take my word as you’ll have a wonderful dining experience at Zabaks. I usually order the Shish Kabob, Chicken Kabob or the Chicken Caesar Wrap depending on what I’m craving. I almost always make sure to leave with a Chocolate Walnut Brownie!! I love the brownie so much that on my wedding day I made sure to stop by and get one from Saudra! I can’t wait for you to experience your own story at Zabaks. ?

My most favorite place in all of Houston. Sandra and her family are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. When you walk in the door, you seriously feel like you're with family. The greek salad topped with gyro meat is OUTSTANDING! I eat it at least once a week. They really have it down with the falafel too. Great little hidden treasure.

Best place for good food highly recommend

Omggggg if only this place can be 24 hrs. After eating here for the first time I feel full and comfortable. Most places I feel full and uncomfortable. If I can give a 10 ⭐️ I would. Everything was fresh and hot. The service was quick and reasonable.

Whenever we get the chance, my wife and I love to come here. Among the things to love with this restaurant beyond the typical fresh food, the variety of choices you get (especially us being vegetarians), the true definition of being a small business, is that the brother and sister who runs this place are truly the best ever!They always listen to us with whatever changes with what to make to the order - add this, less that, whatever, and somehow it goes beyond our imagination. It is not the fact that they use the freshest ingredients BUT it is the simple fact that they care. You see it. Always. Even when it is quitting time. They make the freshest, tastiest Mediterranean food. Drive away from Fadi's and Droubi's, and see what my wife and I see every time we come here. Very clean and tasty food, most of all friendly

I've eaten at Zabak's a few times over the years. The food is always consistent and the service excellent. I especially love their falafel. I've never had none like it in Houston.

I stumbled upon this little gem a few weeks ago. I'd never had falafel and heard theirs was the best. I don't have anything to compare it to but I can tell you, it was fantastic. Also.....the best Gyro I've ever had. Nothing can compare to the incredible service. both times I've been on, the gentlemen in the kitchen and the sweetest woman behind the counter are so welcoming and make you feel like you just walked in to your families home for a meal. Now that I work close, they'll be seeing my face often. Definitely worth more than 5 stars.

One of the best deals in town is their large chicken shawarma, great portion! Im also a big fan of their falafel pieces, specially with their homemade Tzatziki sauce, I love it so much! **support locally owned Houston businesses **
