I put in an order for Dal Curry the young girl forgot to put rice or bread. I checked the food in the car and went to the store and asked her about it she said it comes by itself and then I told her if I come tomorrow and asked the owner. She then made me wait five more minutes for rice.

I had a very disappointing experience at Zaika To Go. The food was just okay at best, but it did not taste fresh at all it genuinely felt like it was from the previous day. Unfortunately, everyone who ate ended up with severe stomach issues and diarrhea, which was extremely concerning.
What made it worse was what I observed about the kitchen environment. Staff were not wearing hair nets or gloves, and the overall cleanliness looked very poor. Employees were playing loud music, dancing, and throwing vegetables at each other, which felt completely unprofessional and unhygienic.
This isn’t just about bad food—it’s about unsafe practices. The owner seriously needs to take action, and I hope the city health department inspects this kitchen soon. Very unpleasant experience overall.

I have been a regular customer of Zaika To Go for a long time, often ordering from them at least three times a week. I’ve also trusted them with catering orders totaling over $300–$400 in the past.
On one occasion, they made a mistake with my order. When I called to let them know, the person I spoke with admitted the error and promised me an $8 credit toward my next purchase. However, every time I visited after that, I was told that the person who offered the credit “wasn’t working today” and that I’d have to come back when he was there.
Finally, on a Saturday when he was working, I placed an order and asked for the promised credit. Instead of honoring his own word, he told me that I was actually at fault—despite previously confirming the credit himself. In the end, they refused to acknowledge their mistake.
It’s disappointing that after so much business, including frequent weekly orders and large catering purchases, they would lose a loyal customer over an $8 credit they themselves promised. Unfortunately, this experience has cost them my business. His name is Roshan

Visited Zaika Togo today and ordered their 2 biryani deal. The biryani tasted amazing definitely one of the best I’ve had in Houston! Even better, the price was very affordable. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu next time!
