Worst ergonomic club of all time. It takes forever to get drinks the floor feels cheap. The only thing that is anime is the mural and they look cheap at best.

Had a fun time. Music ? vibe of the dj kept us at the venue longer than we planned. Picked up a few sake bombs, sake bottles, and shots. Overall had a good time. Would like a more themed cocktail menu to go with the themed sake menu.

This is my boyfriend and myself's go-to bar when in Houston! We love the girl bartender, nice attitude, attentive and very funny. The ambiance is pretty chill and have never had any bad encounters. The video art work and DJ are great, especially the drinks!

Me and my friends came here on a Friday and it wasn’t packed. But the art work and DJ was great!! The bartenders were very nice. Saki bombs were fun to drink with the bartenders banging a gong. Would definitely like to come back with more ppl in attendance.

OVERPRICED!!!!!! The shots were so low, like half what you would usually get elsewhere and for how much you pay? Not worth it. I think they charged me 17$ for a shot.

My friends and I came here not expecting much due to the negative reviews but had an absolute blast! The upstairs DJ played a great mix of music, the bartender Jennifer was amazing. She remembered my friends and I from the night before and despite it being packed with her and one other she got to us pretty quick.My friends and I had lost our house keys last night (New Year’s Eve) and had called Zenaku to see if we had left them there. Jo got back to me by 2 pm which was amazing!Overall we had a fantastic time and personally management is doing something right! Definitely recommend going here.

I don’t typically write reviews but I’ve been coming here for a while now and it use to be so fun! i went this past weekend and it seems they got a new staff.. the old staff dressed in cosplay and made it so much fun especially downstairs with the wheel! This time wasn’t nearly as fun, as the upstairs bartenders seemed to be drinking a bit too much to give me the experience i usually get, drinks were bad and they couldn’t stop dropping things. And downstairs bartenders were extremely underwhelming. I don’t think I’ll be coming back, this place just seems like any regular cash grab at this point. Bring back the cosplay!! And bring back the fun! This was my worst experience here!!

I went last night with a friend, and we were extremely underwhelmed. Both of us are longtime anime fans, myself an anime fan of over two decades, and it definitely felt passionless from the moment I walked in. It felt more along the lines of "anime as an aesthetic" with at best basic interior design, rather than actually having a passion for anime and manga itself. It definitely felt gimmicky, almost like a "culture vulture" type of place. The paintings on the wall looked to be traced art, official or fan art, as well, which definitely adds to the gimmicky, trashy feel. It would have looked better if they actually got original artists to do fan art or original art for the walls both upstairs and downstairs. I don't mind trashy themed places, but I definitely do not mean the word trashy here as a compliment.The drinks were okay, but expensive even for bars on the same block. It's really disappointing that this bar, just like the one in Sugar Land, definitely isn't run by fans for fans, and feels more like a cash grab than anything else. The service was good, which is the only reason I didn't give this one star. The ladies are very nice and polite and good to talk to. No complaints on that end. However, I will not be returning.
