Danielle was our waitress, and she was PHENOMENAL! She was so personable and attentive with us. Would 100% sit at her table again. We were stuck between a few different dishes and she gave us great advice on how to pick. The portions were great! Plenty of food. The atmosphere was awesome! They had music playing that wasn’t too loud, the furniture was comfortable and sleek, mid-century modern decor. Great family atmosphere!

My wife and I came here to enjoy a nice meal after watching our Astros put an ass whoopin' on the Angels. The establishment looked really promising, and food looked really good online. We sat at the bar and our bartender was Will. The guy was a total prick to us. Could hardly pay attention to us, always on his phone, was very condescending in tone. He would talk to us like he was the only person on planet Earth that has ever waited on people or tended a bar. Anyways, we ordered food and it was ok. It probably would have been better had we not be turned off by our bartender. To top things off, he totally messed up our credit card transaction, which I am still in the process of fixing. My wife and I live for trying new places and enjoying good food, drinks, and quality atmosphere. There are tons of places in Houston that I recommend to friends and coworkers, but Zutro is one place I will recommend to stay away from, especially Will the bartender.

We visited the bar two evenings while staying here and had breakfast in the restaurant once. People next to us at the bar got burger and Caesar salad that looked and smelled amazing and they reported it was good. For breakfast we all had breakfast potatoes and different variations of eggs and sausage. The pork sausage is real big links, excellent if you like real sausage! The breakfast potatoes are amazing. Of no Emmanuel was working Saturday night at the bar. He was not only an excellent bartender excelling at his job He was a hard worker never once taking a moment for himself personally he was super attentive to the entire restaurant and his bar. He was a true artisan with the drinks and being able to sit and watch him make drinks and teaches about the drinks he was making was an absolute pleasure 🥰 His old fashions and maple old fashions were top notch!

My server was very good, polite and checked on me regularly. However, the fish tacos came out on single corn tortillas and completely fell apart and were impossible to eat as a taco. I just ate the filling with a knife and fork. Photo of the tortilla attached. But worst of all, the bartender went on a tirade to the manager and the whole restaurant could hear it. It was extremely unprofessional and I was uncomfortable sitting in the restaurant. I will not be back.

Great experience Kaitlyn and Lisa took great care of us every evening during our stay! Food was fantastic and drinks were amazing! I felt so bad for the bartenders though they had to use straws as spoons and they were walking around in water bc the dishwasher started leaking but still rocked it!!
