It used to be an awesome place(one of my favorites), not anymore. About a year ago portions got smaller and food quality went down the drain. I used to be a patron for about 4 years. Stopped going there. Now it is just below average. Very sad.
Food was generally good although some of the dishes were a bit bland for normal Texas Mexican food expectations. We were a party of 12 and seating was adequate, although the solid wooden chairs were a bit hard. Our waitress was good but I thought that the kitchen was a bit slow. Prices were reasonable and there was plenty of available seating which seems normal for a Monday night. Ours was a birthday celebration and a good time was had by all.
Dropped in for lunch with a friend yesterday, I was there one other time a couple years ago. The service was really good, we were seated right away ordered food it came quickly and tasted delicious. Very fresh and healthy portions considering I ordered off lunch menu. Service was great and friendly. Loved the green salsa so much I ordered a large cup to go, along with a hearty portion of leftovers. I gave atmosphere a 4 because the bench seats in many of the booths are torn and...
