I couldn't decide what to eat during a day out with my son and my husband suggested sushi. Thankfully we were already in the area we stopped here. I was greeted with a question "hibachi or AYCE sushi" knowing I couldn't do either with a 3 year old I opted for standard menu. Our server was very sweet, she made the visit very enjoyable as she recommended what to get off the menu. I got a sushi for 1 combo and chicken fried rice for my son. I didn't expect to get good sashimi on this side of town, much less this building but I was mistaken! So yummy! Even the fried rice was tasty! The soup and salad that came with the combo was very pleasant as there was a good portion of tofu and Wakame. I can't wait to go back to try more food.

I had the shaggy dog sushi. It was really good. 10 pieces with ginger and wasabi! Service was great. Server was very informative and on top of it! Ambiance was casual and quiet! Go check it out and thank me later!

Been quite a few times. The food is amazing but the last two servers we had weren’t very good. We got almost all our food before we got our drinks and had to ask for them again. Also, there was a dead decomposing fish in one of the tanks we sat by and that wasn’t pleasant to look at while eating.

We had our first trip to Umiya and it was better than we imagined. Our server Joseph was amazing. He was friendly and made our experience enjoyable. He offered great suggestions and kept our table neat and tidy and refills flowing. The food was prepared fresh and tasted great. We will definitely be back and hope to have Joseph as our server again. Thx for a great experience.
