I've been going to this place since I was 18 years old and when I used to attend North Harris College. Moved out of the Houston area and haven't been to this place in a long time. Today I was around Aldine-Westfield and decided to grab some food while waiting for my mom to get her nails done. I'm really happy that the same guy still takes the order and I was glad to see him. He usually hooks me up with extra "hot oil" on the side and does fantastic service....
Used to go here back in the day (1990's). I moved away from this area in 2013. I came back for the press chicken. It is still pretty much the same. They make it the best. Crispy and covered in a gravy that tastes like chicken gravy with a little soy sauce added (?). Same guy still at the window so probably the same owners. Always friendly, fresh, and great prices. Portions are still large. Eggroll was super crispy and fresh. This place always holds a little place in my heart...
