Captain Crawfish

As someone new to the suburbs, the first seafood place I tried was 7Spice and after finding Captain Crawfish Seafood on DoorDash, my first experience was so good that it brought me back for a second order and made me a repeat customer.

Unfortunately, my experience on 2/11 was very disappointing. Instead of delivery, I placed an online pickup order. I even received a text saying online orders would include a sweet treat, which was a nice touch. However, when I got home and opened my seafood combos, the quality was not what I’ve experienced before.

Some of the shrimp were soggy, and while I understand crawfish can sometimes be frozen, the crawfish I received tasted absolutely off and was honestly unpleasant. For the prices being charged, I expect consistency and quality especially from a place I’ve previously spoken so highly about to coworkers and even in TikTok comments.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews or speak up when something isn’t right, but this time I felt compelled to say something because I truly enjoyed this place before. I’m hoping this was just an off night or maybe a change in the kitchen, but I wanted to share my honest experience.

I really hope quality improves because I would love to continue supporting this location.

Don’t order here they lie about having live crawfish and give out frozen, i ordered 3 pounds of live crawfish tonight and received nasty frozen crawfish smh and they did not give me my refund back so yes im pissed i will never eat crawfish from here again

Came on a Saturday around 4:30. Had to wait about 10 minutes for seating for 2. Server took a little minute to greet once seated but I understood since it was busy. Food came out hot, seasoned. Cajun fries could have used a little more seasoning, but still good. Cocktail was hitting didn’t need another one. I also got an order of potatoes & corn, they charge a $1 for adding sauce like garlic butter for each item so $2 charged to get sauce on potatoes & corn. Would come back!

I ordered from grub hub here two times in the same hour and both orders were cancelled because they were “too busy”. I was told to replace my order just for the store to “close” on grub hub so I can no longer order food. Don’t order unless you go in person and can watch them

The food was seasoned perfectly! Crawfish, mussels 🔥🔥🔥 even the fried shrimp 🍤 . Charles was a great waiter as well. Definitely worth it and returning soon

Our food was hot and we'll seasoned. I have been coming here since it opened they never disappoint us and always good service.

Great place to go for seafood d; boiled or fried!!! The adult beverages are great too!!!

I have been coming here since day 1 recently management has changed new manager Makenzie is rude and snotty, I asked her and the hostess little boy hair white girl to pls move over the table next to me since my family was last min joining me they both said plain no it I wanted to get a bigger table I had to get up and move tables mind you I was already eating crawfish had my set up going. All they had to do is conjoint the table next to me after they said no my family just sat down next time hostess came threw the menus at my parents after I asked her why did you throw the menus she said you got what you deserve…. Hope the owner sees this and does better with these 2 employees I won’t be going back I’ll take my money els where…

I came her on 12/9/25 and was doubled charged! I was told by someone impersonating a manager over the phone there was nothing that could be done and there was no one I could speak to about this issue! I come to this establishment very often! And to be basically ROBBED of my hard earned money and basically told “THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO” when the mistake was initially on the stores system is very insane . I HOPE SOMEONE IN HIGHER MANAGEMENT SEES THIS !
