El Rufu is such a great spot for authentic Mexican food! Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when they’re busy. It’s a great place to stop for a good meal with family or friends. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
They really put the Tex in “Tex-Mex” I should’ve asked what type of cheese they used on the tostadas. I was expecting queso fresco or just a better tasting cheese. Other than that, the chips, salsa, atmosphere and service were good.
I got their top shelf margarita and street tacos. Best way I can describe my experience is not bad…not bad at all. Nothing too amazing, but nothing memorable. Kids these days might say mid. But not mid in a bad way. It’s just not bad. If you are looking for a quick bite and a drink, yeah, come here. I sat at the bar, and both bartenders were very attentive. Though, it was 1pm on a Sunday. Point is, I’d come here again if i didn’t know what to have and I was in the area....
