Best gumbo and catfish around! I've got a pretty low spice tolerance. The gumbo has a little kick to it, but it's still delicious and I eat it without problems. Fairly priced. Employees are nice. Dining room is kind of small but there's usually not many dining in when I go, but a steady stream of to-go orders.
I was visiting Humble, TX & Georgia's Catfish Kitchen was suggested. OMG, the food was great, the staff was amazing & the atmosphere was a whole vibe. I will be returning 🤗

Ordered on DoorDash. They delivered the correct order but the restaurant did not put the correct food in the box. We had to drive to the restaurant to replace. They were nice about it but who wants to drive to get food corrected when the intent was to get it delivered. The food was not good at all. Flavor not good , fish fry not good. Shrimp fried too long and was chewy

I was not dining in but my toddler needed to use the bathroom very badly and had to do a quick stop , they denied her . I had to purchase a drink before they let her in . I understand rules are rules but this is a small child . I will never dine here , restroom was very dirty too!

Ordered combo basket. Two issues. First gumbo for dine-in served in to go styrofoam container had very small amount of roux/soup…so rice dried it up. Second my shrimp was breaded so heavily it fell off when I ate shrimp. Undecided if I’ll return again… ..fish and fries were good no issues

Food was not prepared the way I requested it. I requested my fish to be fried hard. I got soft and soggy.

Went to Georgia’s on a recommendation of a resident where I work. LET me tell you, the food was fantastically delicious! We got the regular fish basket with onion rings and red beans & rice and jambalaya rice. When I say the onion rings slapped the taste buds, ummmph they were seasoned well and delicious. The (real) ‘catfish’ was fried to perfection and scrumptious! The rice and rb&r were equally as delicious too. I was given a sample of the Gumbo, and it was slap ya momma good! (Don’t do it Celie)iykyk. Tammie was sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!!! I’d post a photo, but it’s all gone!
