One of my favorite places to pick up a take out.The food is always good to me and the workers are nice.You can get yourself a good home cook meal the price of a fast food hamburger ☺️

Bright my 81 yr old mom here, there was no handicap parking available, I understand cause there are others who are also handicap but we parked in the closest space to the front door. It was very difficult getting to the door first the space was on an incline then we had to walk around another car in the handicap space to get to the ramp (mom uses a walker and can’t step up or over curb) when we finally reached the first side door it is locked !!! So we had to continue around to the front
This us very inconvenient and difficult for someone in walker
The front door has no ramp so I had no choice but to take the long way around
When I mentioned this to the manager he simply said the owner wants that door locked. Apparently it doesn’t matter that it makes entering the restaurant more difficult. See pics of how far my mom had to walk in her walker they are just packing for an accident. In the last pics you can see the side door and the distance from the 2 plus all the way down to our parking space l. Why is it so difficult just to open the side door

Food was hot and fresh, trays were always full. The waitress we had was very attentive and sweet unfortunately we didn’t get her name. Restaurant was clean and well ventilated because it was packed.The fried chicken and catfish are the best. The roast and chicken fried steak is also really good.

Absolutely a wonderful experience today. We came today after Church and I ATE BABY!!! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very clean. They do a fantastic job keeping the place clean and keeping the food full. William served our table and he was extremely polite, professional and clean. He kept our drinks full and made sure that our table remained clear. Great experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Carlos price was very friendly with every interaction we had with him. He kept a smile on his face and made us feel comfortable. I had a rambunctious 18 month old who he help me corral and talked to as well. He even saved him from hitting his head when he fell off of his chair. Carlos was a friendly face for sure and made me want to come back again. He was very kind and helpful. Clumy was our server and she was very welcoming from the beginning. She was very kind to us even tho we had a crazy toddler. She kept our drinks full and picked up our plates fast. It was wonderful. Both of these employees made us want to come back and eat at this establishment. I also want to add how kind and happy everyone on the staff was. Usually when I’m out with my toddler I’m nervous and rushing to leave because I feel judged by how loud he is but everyone was seriously so kind and loving toward us. It was a blessing for sure.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly!staff was kind about my toddler having so much energy and being so talkative.

We had a busy late lunch with an infant and a toddler tagging along. Clumy greeted us with a smile and got our drinks quickly. She checked on us regularly and offered us to go drinks as well. E wry time we saw her she had a smile. She even visited with the kids for a quick sec to keep them occupied .
Carlos Price was another happy face we saw while we dined. He was personable and struck up quick and friendly conversation. He definitely kept an eye on us to see if we needed anything so much so that when our toddler stood up in the chair and fell….. Carlos caught him just before he hit his head on the ground. Thank you again Carlos! We appreciated everyone’s friendly faces and attitudes . These little ones can be a lot in public and we didn’t have to feel the peering eyes we’ve felt from others in other places we’ve been. We will def be back:

Disappointment!!! As a child, I remember eating here. Food was GREAT... Along with service and the atmosphere was very WELCOMED.. I FELT!!!

The Golden Corral (GC) @ 9663 F.M.1960 East @ McKay Rd. (that shares the parking lot with SAM's) is simply incredible. We've eaten at GCs all over Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, etc., None of which compare to our dining experience at this location. We had pretty much given up on "All-You-Can-Eat" type restaurants. Their sign that read something like: "Whole Bone-in Fried Catfish," was the primary factor that lulled us inside. On a hungry Friday evening, we couldn't resist. Wow! were we surprised: from the clean entrance, to the friendly cashiers, to the neat food presentation on the steam tables, to the clean carpeted floors, to the (neat, in working order) restrooms, everything was immaculate! This was an absolute first for us at an all-you-can-eat-restaurant. To top that, we didn't just eat the delicious fried fish, shrimp and steak fries. We were compelled to try quite a bit of the various food items. Specifically, the cooked-to-order grilled steak that was magnificent. Often times we don't get that at $$$$$ Steak Houses. . . So was the succulent Salisbury steak, the steamed green veggies, the luscious salad bar, and the variety of decadent desserts. We definitely got a 'bang for our bucks!' I had to personally, compliment David, the manager. I told him just how 'tight a ship' he ran and just how 'on point' everything and everyone was (including our outstanding, very tall waiter Paul.) By the way, the entire time we dined, we noticed that David not only managed, but continuously pitched in helping employees from the kitchen staff to the waitstaff to get the job done. This rarely happens in this type of heavily trafficked restaurant. Nor in the food industry overall, So, I just had to share it all in a review. Pardon my being "wordy-gurdy." You've got to go there and experience it for yourselves. You'll be glad you did. Don't forget to compliment/reward the staff, they work really hard. "Bon Appetit"

Bring back A1 steak sauce

We enjoyed the various selections. Since we did not know what we wanted this time, Golden Corral was a great choice, so we could try different things. Our server was very attentive, and the food bins were kept full and fresh. The entrees were varied and, of course, nice big dessert selection.
