I tried Granny's Tamales from a vendor at the Farmers market in Clearlake. They were all good. We tried bean and cheese, jalapeño and cheese, spinach and cheese. Of the three, our favorite was the jalapeño and cheese...they were superb, the best jalapeño and cheese tamales I've ever had. Great job Granny! The spinach and cheese was very good and came in 2nd place. The bean and cheese was quite acceptable but mild; I thought they could have used more seasoning. The tamales are smaller than many I've had in the past, but this was not a deal breaker for us. In my opinion, the masa to filling ratio was balanced...and the size to me, made them easy to handle. They were not dry yet not overly greasy and had a wonderful "mouth feel," yum. I definitely recommend and will purchase them again Lord willing.

Terrible! I have had better tamales in a aTV dinner! Not sure how a great brand allows themselves to tumble to the worst level but Granny's has managed to to it!
