The food has gotten better over the years. It's very clean and the service is good. The prices are high. My husband always complains because I don't eat very much. Says I don't get my money's worth.

Lings in Atascocita has become a reliable go-to for our family. It’s affordable, consistent, and most importantly, my kids love it — especially my 5-year-old who calls it his favorite restaurant in the world. They truly have something for everyone: Chinese dishes, American comfort food, sushi, and plenty of options to keep even the pickiest eater happy. It’s a place we can always count on for a good meal and an easy family night out.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this restaurant for almost six years, and I’ve always had a great experience with the food, service, and atmosphere. However, my recent visit was a complete disappointment, especially since it was my first time back since the COVID-19 pandemic.
I had specifically requested to sit at my usual table, but the host refused to accommodate me. He insisted that I couldn’t choose my seat and forced me to sit at a table I didn’t want. When I asked him why, he simply said that I had to sit there.
To make matters worse, he assigned me to an old woman with a short ponytail. She was extremely rude and disregarded my requests. She was practically trying to evict me from the restaurant by telling me to eat faster. She promptly took my bill and slammed it on my table. The service provided by the host and the waitress is incredibly frustrating and infuriating.

This place feels very limited when it comes to food options. Honestly, I came in expecting low quality food, but it was actually lower than I anticipated. I did take into consideration the time (around 7pm), but the food wasn’t fresh at all. The staff was nice and pleasant, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the horrible food quality. If you’re looking for a buffet, I’d recommend making the extra drive to Caffe East or Buffetopia in Humble instead. I only stopped here for convenience, but it wasn’t worth it.

Never in my time eating here have I been hovered upon in the middle of my eating? To give her the check while I was eating. I'd even sat down for 15 minutes. The food is still on the table. I'm still eating and ask. Check, check, check. So I was with another party, and she had put her check down first Never in my time eating here have I been hovered upon in the middle of my eating? But she kept circling around like a vulture around the table. Forcing me to pay before I have my dessert.. and then, when I did, she snatched, it almost threw it across the floor. Then she's standing in the back staring, looking at the table, see what tips she got.

As an Asian buffet it’s what you want and expect. The selection is good, the food is hot & tasty (I always eat too much) and the place is clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The price is reasonable - something like $13 for the lunch buffet - but be aware that if you pay the server with a $20 - they’re going to try to get you to let them keep the change in broken English (I have my doubts about their true lack of English ability - I suspect it might be an act). I generally let them have it because $20 all in for lunch isn’t terribly bad and it doesn’t hurt to be nice to someone. The food is good, the place is clean and the people are nice. It’s one of our go-to’s for weekday lunch.

This place has a variety of food but some things are not so fresh but the rest is good. Our family has visited 4x this yr and twice the food was not good at all and the other 2 were great….other than having to chase the waitress for refills on drinks it’s a 3out 5 star.
