I’m a truck driver. I’m off for 2 days. I came in. Ordered a tequila. I had a steak with enchiladas and drank maybe 5 iced teas. I then had 2 margaritas and a beer. Over a 3 hour period. I tried to get a tequila on my way out. They said they have a 3 drink limit. I’m ubering. I didn’t talk to anyone. Bother anyone. A biker gang was literally drinking all kinds of booze across from me. No questions. My waitress abandoned me for 20-30 minute intervals. I was on business calls. I won several trucks. I’ll never come back. I’m not sieving and an adult. This is a bar, hence “cantina.” I’m embarrassed for you.

At first sight the impression was not good. I didn't care much for the location. It's in a shopping center. I came here to eat with a groups of people and this is the place that was chosen. It was my understanding that they were able to accommodate our group on the very same day. We had a group of about 10 people and we were seated near the bar area. The place looks very nice as you enter. I was pleasantly surprised. Their menu is extensive has lots to offer. The prices seemed reasonable to an extent. They took our orders right away as I chomped down on their chips and salsa. The salsas, both red and green, were tasty and not too spicy. The chips were okay but nothing out of the ordinary. The food had an authentic taste and was reasonably priced for the portions. The food came quickly after we had ordered but we never did get our chips or drinks refreshed. My drink sat empty for the rest of my meal. Our conversations ran long but we never felt as if anyone was trying to get rid of us. As we discussed a number of things, I couldn't hold out anymore and ordered a sweet tea. The young lady in charge of drinks turned to another coworker and said in Spanish, he wants tea but had ordered water. I could have made a scene but he came over and took my card and charge me the $4 for the tea. I was so thirsty at this point they could of charged me 20 for it and I would have payed. Give them a visit and let us know how your experience goes. Btw, their reviews on their rice and charro beans are true; They are good.

I have been a customer of Mi Rancho for years. So it brings me such disappointment on my dinner experience a few weeks ago. I will admit the food was hot and quick, very tasty. And the margaritas are some of my favorite in town. However, my waitress appeared to be annoyed with our dinner group. Yes it was a Wednesday evening but it was a celebration for a bday. We felt rushed and they placed us smack in the middle walkway towards the restroom. My complaint is not the seating but on how I was treated. I ordered a top shelf margarita, large and then a small top shelf. On my 3rd drink I decided to order a small Regular margarita. NOT top shelf. Well, when I got my check I was being charged for a 3rd top shelf. The waitress disputed me claiming it was a top shelf. Trust me when I say, I know my top shelf and it wasn't! Well, her manager comes to me and explains it was a top shelf. I argued the fact that it wasn't and this man had the audacity to pull up camera footage of the bartender preparing the margarita from his phone. Basically, trying to say he had it on camera that it was a top shelf. I was not only infuriated but felt so humiliated as my character was attacked and humiliated, in front of my friends. I explained to him where was the footage of the Top shelf being brought to me and he said he had it but failed to show me. I told him, I had no issues paying for the drink if it was a top shelf but it wasn't. I always pay my tab and extra. Needless to say, he said he would not charge me for the 3rd rop shelf and handed me the bill. Its the principal of the matter, ro be accused of having something I did not have. I have had better experiences and customer service at Patron Mexican Grill in Humble. They will now have my loyalty going forward. If I ever go back here, it will be by the bar where I can physically watch them make and hand me my drink.

Today my experience was not all that
management sucked
Alondra was a good server though

My jumbo fajita street tacos was good and seasoned

Some of the food was a little bland in particular the rice and beans

The consistency was not the same meaning the taste of the sides and the amount they give me . The rice was dry and unflavored no carrots or corn in sight.

If it was supposed to be 4oz for each side I was jipped. I felt they gave me 2.5-3 at best and not four oz.

As far as the taste I also had to add a little green sauce to make it taste better then it was ok

I ordered charro beans it was all bean juice and not enough beans
When I complained, I was told that is all that they would give me or

I could pay to get extra beans and I did not feel that was right because it was a smaller amount than normal maybe the scale they used was off or something or maybe in an effort to cut cost now they are cheating the consumer but still charging the same price to the customer for the price I payed it was NOT worth it for 18.99 a plate

So after my experience I probably will not be coming back to Mi Rancho.

Normally, we don’t have any issues except a one off every once in a while. But my husband ordered three crispy tacos with cheese on top of them for my son. This is what we got. As you can see, the taco is not crispy. If they had separated out, the tacos are done a little bit better job, then I think the tacos will still be crispy. They also, for some strange reason, put the cheese on the side, and not on the actual tacos.

$6.50 for a basic fountain drink is wild. This place has become very greedy. Not coming back.

A great place to feast after a long flight, service was fast and the food was the perfect blend of Mexican and Texican. The limes served with the seltzer were nothing short of transcendent, each one a citrus colossus, radiant and full of promise. Their aroma alone could have rewritten the rules of scent, fresh and mysterious like a lime that had wandered through a dream. Squeezing them into the glass felt like unlocking a secret, joy-filled portal to a zestier, more flavorful universe. Come for the food, stay for the limes, which are also food.
