We’ve always loved this restaurant , and we were very impressed that tonight they gave my veteran husband and me free meals to honor Veterans Day. The food is always excellent, the service is good, and we appreciate that this restaurant is much quieter than other Mexican restaurants in town, such as Los Cuco’s, which has good food, too, but which is always Party Central. We definitely recommend coming here!

The food is really good here. I briefly worked delivering mail and stopped here for lunch. I made a mental note to go back. So, my wife and I did. I had the stuffed avocado, and my wife had enchiladas. My food was very good. She said the same.

I purchased a TO GO ORDER of beef fajitas fir 1 and a medium queso. My bill was $37.00. I h thought this was expensive for 1 order but decided to go ahead because I would end up with 2-3 meals. I didn't even eat 1 full meal. The fajitas tasted horrible and the queso was terrible. I threw it all out. I'll NEVER order fajitas from there again.

1 plate had to be sent back it was wrong, 2nd plate food was to greasy just dripped in the plate when picked up, 3rd plate was just made wrong asked for no beans in it and it was loaded with beans. The waitress acted like she didn't want to be there, drink refills had to be asked for cuz waitress was nowhere to be seen, she really had a horrible attitude, when she did come to the table after a coworker told her we were looking for her she wanted to know what we needed now, mind you she came to our table 1 time to get our orders and still screwed them up. Our ice teas had very little ice. And to put the icing on the cake the plates were smaller then ever with food, downsizing was very apparent at this place. It used to be a place my family and I enjoyed for a place to go to after church on Sundays. I think we will pass next time 85. Dollars for half plates and shitty service ain't worth it. We will stick with Mi Rancho for now on when we want tex mex food.

Monterey's was always my favorite, it was a family favorite my whole childhood. We went to the original location in Pasadena, back then, which is no longer there. Once in a while I just get a craving and remember that I'm near the one in Humble now (the one on 1960 near Ella closed a long time ago).
My daughter and I popped in the other day. More than anything just to spend some time and relax together. It started out good, waitress was very friendly, but it seemed kind of inexperienced. No biggie, we all have to start at something right?
The issues began mainly when the food was brought out. For one, my daughter had specified lime and cilantro only on her fajita tacos. They came out bare. Okay, no biggie... Can we get some? Sure!... .... ..... ..... We're left waiting for so long, had to ask a second time, still waiting, finally get 2small pieces of lime, still no cilantro. Her food is cold by then. Food, was okay. Enjoyed the chips and dip the most.

A little expensive but delicious and fresh so no complaints. Exactly what we were looking for but I was disappointed to see they had one women’s bathroom out of order and both other toilets clogged and disgusting. Still coming back! Food was tasty and as expected. May come back if in the area again!
Dietary restrictions: Has plenty of options
Parking: Many spots to choose from

First time we ate here. We ordered the chicken Gonzalez, spinach enchiladas and chicken enchiladas. The food was on point delicious. Not only that but the customer service is A+. The manager Virginia was so welcoming and very attentive. She really made our visit special. Definitely will be going back.
