Everyone was nice but the food was nastyyyyy!!! Everything was watered down such as the cheese and the rice pudding and everything tasted BLANDDD. There was no seasoning and for them to charge about $17 per person it wasn’t worth it . They took forever to bring us chips and salsa and the chips tasted old with no salt and the salsa was disgusting.. they also brought out bread which was a long wait and it taste as if it has been refried or sitting in the oil too long. Me and my family has no more than one plate and none of it was finished for it to be a buffet!! This was a horrible experience I definitely won’t be back!! The churros didn’t even give churros smh!! Panchos isn’t how it used to be . They’re just working for a check and not pleasure . No thanks!!

It was great experience with family and food that really brought back awesome memories from my childhood at this place that has over the years began to disappear. If you have never ate at Pancho's I give it a cincer recommendation.

The most disappointing and underwhelming “Mexican buffet” I’ve experienced. Honestly, it shouldn’t even be called a buffet considering how limited the options are.
The restaurant itself is cute and nicely decorated, but unfortunately the food is not worth the price. The main entrées were very basic “Mexican” dishes like enchiladas, flautas, and tacos. There weren’t any real meat options like fajitas or anything substantial you would expect from a buffet.
I tried the picadillo, which was very oily and didn’t have much flavor other than oregano. The white enchiladas were also subpar. Just a basic tortilla with shredded chicken and a watery white sauce on top. There wasn’t even cheese or anything to give it more flavor. The beans and rice were standard, like what you’d get at any average Mexican restaurant.
After paying for your entrée, you’re directed to the salad and dessert bar, which was also underwhelming. The salad options were very limited. I tried two of the pasta salads. The penne pasta was okay, but the macaroni salad was extremely bland. I honestly couldn’t even finish it.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. We ate what we were served and still left hungry. The only positive was that the customer service was nice.
I suggest you save your money and go somewhere else.

This is the restaurant my family ALWAYS went to when I was growing up. The food is plentiful. Staff were helpful. The wait was long, but there was a table immediately available once I got my buffet plate. Sure, it's not fine dining. It's bulk BUT it's about family, memories, and the sopapillas.

Haven't been here since I was a kid and it's still the same I'm glad they didn't change everything. I had the fajitas for 2 and our waitress was very friendly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the mens restroom had standing water in the floor

Just like we remembered. We used to go to the Poncho's in Mesa, AZ with my dad growing up. That location shut down years ago, and we were excited to find one in the Houston area. Nearly identical quality and atmosphere. Great memories. Excellent experience.
