Best of the PAPPAS YET!! I’m a food critic, and I love food! When I moved here a year and a half ago my husband wanted to take me here and I was very skeptical because I had moved from Dallas where we have really high-end seafood and steak places. Boy was I in for a surprise.!! Exceptional food and service completely consistent. We try to go once a month such a great team.. the hostesses is at The Front could be a little friendlier-they are really the only thing that they need to work on and we don’t go to the bar, but the food is exceptional. Fresh and the service is completely on point highly recommend.!!

Yesterday I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The grilled salmon on it was really good but the Caesar salad was drenched in a vinaigrette. I asked our server if this was the correct dressing (because I've never had it there before) she said yes and it was probably the olive oil that they put on it and then she walked away. It was lunch time so she was busy but she was a little dismissive of my concerns about my salad. The dressing was way too vinegary for me. I ordered the Caesar because the other option was a chef salad that had a vinaigrette and I did not want a vinaigrette. I had that vinegar taste in my mouth for hours after we ate. I won't be ordering this again!

Don't let this be the place for your first seafood experience. I was not well the days after. I ordered the Grilled Trout and stuffed Shrimp. I can not say anything about other dishes. My side was Sautéed Spinach. (Just tasted horrible and over packed with onions)Our waitress was very kind and professional and tended to all our needs. Also the dining room was very clean.

Had lunch at bar today with my daughter, order Fondue to go for wife, get home and regular complementary bread was in bag for fondue, we normally get garlic bread. I thought this was very inappropriate, especially without a heads up, i wouldn't have even ordered it if i knew ahead of time

First time at this establishment. I’m huge fan of seafood. I crave a good seafood especially during lent. We dined here on a busy Friday night during lent. The place was packed and hectic. Knew there would be a wait but was looking forward to enjoying our seafood dinner. Service was just okay. Granted yes, it was busy but our server got our order wrong a few times. So much so that the manager had to apologize on his behalf. We order the Mississippi Catfish blacken with Carrots and Coleslaw. Instead we got fried catfish with just carrots. It was extremely salty. Had to drench it with lemon to tame down the saltiness. My Shrimp & Crab Tagliatelle Pasta was on point though. I’m not sure if I’d be back anytime soon.
May have been an off night, but service was not good and food quality is down. The bread, which we usually love, is very different. No longer flaky and pillowy. Now it's more like plain poboy bread. We come here as a treat once or twice a year, but it's not worth it anymore.

Such a great lunch at Pappas. We sat at the oyster bar, loved it!The cocktails were yummy and the food even better! We got lunch specials along with the seafood fondue, and it was a perfect shared meal for 2

Papa's service is amazing, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is delicious. It was my birthday and I got pampered, my dessert was on the house. I give Papa's 5 stars for an exciting experience eating food.?

Easter Sunday late lunch but still a packed restaurant. But the service (Chris) was very attentive and food was AMAZING. The only thing was the lack of desert options. Took home Tres Leches which was WONDERFUL.
