This laid-back gem near my home has become a regular stop for me—and for good reason. The food is consistently tasty, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

On my latest visit, I ordered the crispy calamari and crispy grouper filet with chili sauce, served with steamed rice and miso soup. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The grouper had a satisfying crunch and just the right kick from the chili sauce, while the miso soup added a warm, savory touch.

If you’re looking for a casual spot with delicious fusion dishes and great sushi, Rising Sun is definitely worth checking out.

This place never misses. The food is fresh. The drinks are good. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice. What more can you ask for? Second time coming here and I make the drive from Katy its that good.

This place was awesome! I've been going to a sushi place in the Greenway Plaza area for years because I couldn't find a decent one near the house. I have finally found my new sushi spot near the house! Food was amazing, saki, cocktails and all for a good price... 👌🏽❣️

One of the best sushi places i ever dined at. Great atmosphere chill vibes. Excellent choice of background music. Menu a bit difficult to understand for first timers, but staff are happy to assist. Delicious food quality and speed of service leaves you shocked. Great place definitely recommend! 👌

Great all you can eat sushi menu

Normally, I am very happy having dinner with my boyfriend and his family here. However, today, the waitress we had, had a bad attitude when I was confused about my drink. While she continued to be condescending while ordering, she brought both my boyfriend and his dad's drinks. 10 minutes goes by and I'm still waiting for my drink until we asked, where the last drink?? Then it magically appeared! Not pleased with this new waitress. Furthermore, no respond to any negative reviews here, so guess manager doesn't give a flip.. place will go down one day.

Great sushi and other options. The waiters here are fast and kind no matter how packed it is. My only issue is that some employes have a hard time understanding you, and that the location can get pretty tight depending on how many people are there. Either way, this is a great location with some of the best sushi around.

I placed a Togo order, I ordered tofu teriyaki and at first they said they don’t have that on the menu but after putting me on hold for a very brief second a gentlemen came back on the line and said they will create it for me. It was DELICIOUS and a very big plate might I add, and it came with soup and salad. I am very satisfied and will definitely be coming back when I get back in town here. 5 star everything!!! Thank you great service ( I would take a pic but I devoured it 🥹😅🤣😬🫣🥴)

After being a repeat customer for nearly for years we experienced the worst customer service ever 6/28/25 with the manager on duty and the waitress. We definitely will go to a different location moving forward. Every time we go there they’re barely people in there and now I see why. Customer service has gotten worse and if I’m going to spend $146 dollars or more then good customer service should be at least!

For the record, I do not like sushi. So if you do, this place is probably pretty good. HOWEVER, it had an atmosphere of a bar, it was dark and my waiter couldn't understand me very well. Yet the greeter/ seater lady did and was super nice and informative. Also the food looked very fancy.
