Always good! I've been a customer for years and the food is always great. There's a reason their line of customers is the longest in the food court. The guys cooking the food are very nice and do a great job.

1.. there isnt any Japanese people cooking the chicken or any of the food for that matter.. 2 the fried rice is bland.... 3. The chicken is cooked like its a mexican food truck ..... do not recommend this place at all unless they learn to start cooking it like there name suggestes .... Japanese style...And also Not everyone in texas speaks spanish so Stop greeting people like we all speak spanish... AND LEARN WHAT A GYOZA IS...

The cook at 12:39pm plays favorites he only give girls a lot of meat and when I said something about it, it was a problem the rice is cold and it doesn’t taste like they clean the grill properly the food isn’t bad but needs to add my teriyaki sauce

I was having a tough morning when I thought that maybe a good lunch could help move the day along. I decided to try this place and everything was great... until it wasn't. The food was fast and looked good. That is until I sat down and saw A BUG. Worst day ever.

As the food looks delicious defenately the taste is not there.. I should have went to the one across from them.. the vegetables don't have NO flavor at all they are just steamed plain.. the rice had parts not finished cooked amd just color.. no flavot.. the noodles taste like processed egg clay while chewing.. does not have normal pasta consistency.. the chicken was the only thing just ok since it was recently cooked and had that grill flavor.. $14.00 over all I won't recommend or be back..

Food is great but the cashier was rude and did not explain their combo or meal options since this was our first time being there

You can't go wrong with Sarku in the mall. Massive portions of tasty food for a reasonable price.

I have been a long time customer of Sarku. I have read the bad reviews and I know every experience can be different but I have had only good experiences at this location. The service has always been friendly. This location is always busy and the line can get long. No matter how long the line I have never had to wait too long. The cooks have been the same ones for years now. They know how to cook the chicken just right. I have had teriyaki chicken at other places and the chicken is burnt. I have never had that issue here. I will say the prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere so it's unfair for people to leave a bad review because they think the prices are too high. However, their portion sizes are plenty and I usually get double meat so I have enough for lunch the next day. Their drink cups are BIG so when you spend $2.50 you get alota soda vs other places with their small cups for the same price. Before covid they offered refills but that is gone. Smh. I recommend this place for some good teriyaki.
