I was given cold donuts at 7:20 A.M. On a weekday at that! This is not my first time experiencing this with this location just decided to give them another chance ! Bad idea! When I asked for a refund I was treated poorly and told that I should have told her I wanted fresh donuts. Which I think I crazy ! Why would I want old food mam !?!?

I was excited for hot donuts when they opened at 4:30am. I waited in parking lot patiently for 15 minutes. At 4:30am, I proceeded to the drive-thru. No one greeted me at the menu speaker. I pulled up and could see employees. The window had a sign that said order at the speaker. So, I backed up to the speaker. Nothing. I proceeded back to the window where I sat for 4 minutes hoping someone would acknowledge me. I could see a women getting her headset ready to wear. I ended up going inside. I wanted to let them know maybe their system wasn’t working. She said they just opened. I wanted hot glazed. There was no glazed. I asked when they would be available and she said 15 minutes. I left disappointed with nothing—no selection—there was one tray of what looked like cake glazed. This is the second time I encountered this same issue. Shame on me for attempting it twice, expecting a different outcome.

Worst tasting donuts ever. Normally they are fresh. Only the glazed tasted fresh. The rest tasted like they were yesterday's donuts. Very stiff and not good at all. They all went in the trash!! We won't be back.

This was the worst shipleys I’ve ever been to. The service was awful. You can’t even walk in, you have to go through the drive thru, the lady was rude as hell and has the nerve to have a freakin tip jar taped to the window.. unbelievable. The kolache was crunchy, stale and old. It was over priced… almost $2 for a donut? Really? How are they still open? I’d give them zero stars but I cant.

Arrived at 435 (opened at 430). Staff was talking. They unlocked door, flipped on the open sign then said come in. Shelves completely empty. I ordered a dozen glazed donuts. Was told it would be 5 minutes until they’re ready and they were totally surprised when I said I’d wait. At 446 they gave me a box of glazed. Didn’t find out until I drove off heading home that they were stiff. I’ve had shipleys for years, never have the fresh glazed been hard. These must have been warmed from the prior day. Disappointed.

Me and my mama were shopping at this specific shipleys and they wanna be so rude to MY mama, and the lady goes and throws it at my mama.And so we leave and she doesn’t even give us what we ordered so we had to go back twice. Worst employee ever and worst service.

Worst experience! I was told that if I wanted fresh hot donuts to ask ahead of time because they don’t always have hot donuts. So that’s what I did, however I was yelled at and told that making donuts is a process and that they cook the donuts earlier and store them. So they still considered “fresh” but not hot. I even told the manager “Carla” that I would wait for fresh donuts and that’s when she proceeded to have a nasty attitude with me. Who eats cold donuts at 7-8 am?

Shipley is so over price 2.99 for a dozen donut holes, and to go and spend that and have the lady at the window with an attitude. She dose not belong in customer service. And how are donut holes hard and cold at 7:43 in the morning. Not even my toddler wanted to eat them. Hard as rock.. Never again I will drive the half mile to my normal place. Not only because the donut holes are 1.98 but they are at lease warm and not hard.
Came to get fresh ready made donuts and they were stale batch. We asked for a fresh batch and the woman became defensive asking if i wanted my money back which i didnt mind waiting for a fresh batch but then she said 30 min. Normally they already should have ready fresh made batches or a 15 min wait. But 30 min for donuts that are suppose to be made fresh. Disappointed with the service and donuts.

Here we go again, I started coming to this location lately because the other shipley on west lake houston has terrible customer service. The few times I've been here a girl with glasses is so sweet and helpful but today there was 2 older Hispanic women and they were short and rude. I had a dollar coffee that I can use weekly and I haven't used it this week, they refused to sell me a dollar coffee?? They said come back monday?? The other lady on west lake would always tell me come back tomorrow or flat out I won't give you your free rewards donuts. What is it with these shipleys? I'll make sure to go here when the nice girl is there.

Today I had a very unpleasant moment, when the manager of this establishment verbally abused me, just because I said good morning to her, and when she didn't respond, I said good morning again. and I take a very rude attitude. what bad service, lousy. Neither I nor any of my family will return to this place. In the end she refused to sell me the colaches. Terrible attitude, this person should be fired. The most worrying thing is that there are many complaints from other people who have suffered this same problem.

Donuts at 10:30am was not alot to choose from. Some tasted a day or so old. Overall not bad, just not going to be my first choice. New to the area so will be looking for the freshest and tastiest in the area.
The manager who manages this location and the Crosby location is a wonderful human. When the 3rd party delivery service driver failed to deliver my takeout order to my address and delivered it to another home instead.. the manager took it upon himself to personal deliver my food to my home on his own time and kept great communication with me during the process. I recommend this location 100%. Outstanding customer service.

The manager who manages this location and the Crosby location is a wonderful human.
