Slim Chickens

First time here, went for the special advertised on the windows. It’s 3 tenders (grilled or fried) with fries, toast, dipping sauce and a drink for $6.99!! You can’t beat it. Plus the seasoning was perfect.
You can substitute the fries for Okra but it is $1.99 extra.

We also got the fried pickles which are sliced and breaded NOT cornmeal which was great!! Alittle on the salty side but still very good.

Craving chicken tenders? This is the place, chicken has flavor (seasoning) and a variety of dipping sauces to get. Need them tenders sauced? They got you. Definitely recommend! Love it the first time i tried it. 10/10 place ! Will come again.

Chicken had a light but seasoned batter, which had a great texture to chew and wonderful taste. Fries were salted to my liking. Garlic toast had the perfect amount of garlic powder on it. Lemonade was refreshing after a 3 hour road trip. I have to knock the service a star due too the person who delivered my food didn't bring me my banana pudding that I bought. After my meal, I went back up there with a receipt to get it, and they sold out of them even tho I saw several when I ordered it. I was substituted a chocolate parfait, which wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. All in all, it my first time trying Slim's, and I would return.

We've noticed on our last 3 visits while dining inside that this location has a strong grease smell. I don't know if it's the vents or maybe a dirty fryer, but I GUARANTEE you're walking out smelling like grease. Your clothes will definitely stink after dining inside. And it wasn't always like this. Hope they fix the issue soon.

Stopped in with the wife and kids for some afternoon lunch. First time for us all. I ordered my son the kids tenders and fries with an honest apple juice. Son’s verdict: Great. Mine too. Ordered the 8 piece hot wings meal. Verdict: Great. The wings were crispy good, paired with the Cajun ranch. Bomb. Fries are good as well but are basic and nothing crazy with seasonings. Just some old fashion fries. Wife order the buffalo Mac and cheese meal which was delicious. Crispy and well done chicken with creamy Mac. Verdict: great. Definitely will come back to try more of the menu!

I am a Doordash driver. I just went in to pick up my order for delivery, The young lady at the counter was VERY rude..
As she was handing me two drinks, I asked for a cup holder, with her attitude she reluctantly grabbed the drinks and put them in a cup holder and as she was giving them to me with her dirty looks and bad demeanor she put the drinks on the counter with ATTITUDE. The restaurant was not busy at all.
