Southern Maid Donuts

Visited recently and tried out a few different donuts and kolaches. They all tasted okay (although the kolaches tasted better than the donuts), but it was noticeable that everything had been sitting for a bit. I’m curious to try earlier in the morning to see if that would make a difference. The customer service was great and the area was fairly clean too.

I stopped at this donut shop to get some quick breakfast. But instead I got a bag full of disappointment. The young woman behind the counter had a poor attitude. To add to insult she didn't heat up the product correctly I purchase. Also I asked if they had sugar and she replied frustrated. We'll not be coming back to this establishment.

So I got here at 445am and stayed til 520am and knocked on the door several times and still nobody came to the door….. it says it open at 5am so that’s bad business

I thought Shipley's donuts were good but southern made donuts are even better

First off I am not a breakfast now donut person. But I have probably been to this place 15times in a 1 month span? They kolaches are sweet buttery and melt in your mouth. Please note that all Southern Maids are not created equal. I tried the one closer to my house and didn’t like it, so I drive to this one on Wilson and Beltway. The lady is so kind and greets each customer

Great experience with the owners, great food and quality service. Had a chance to Detail one of the owners vehicles and he is an amazing person. Recommend 10/10.

Just made an order here almost the whole thing is wrong, got 4 jalapeño kolaches, 4 chocolate iced with coconut and 1 lemon filled, only got 1 coconut and the rest with nasty sprinkles, the filled doughnut was a damn regular glazed doughnut that someone stuck a doughnut hole in the middle of then just put filling on the top wow genius , southern maid ? More like incoherently maid by a moron if you ask me. take a look for yourself

The lady at the front is nice however, this place is dirty! I went to the restroom there and it was horrible! After leaving the restroom I looked around the lobby and it's gross. If you are going to serve food then your establishment needs to be clean!! At that point I was scared to eat the food because there's no telling what the kitchen looks like!!

TRASH... just straight trash. I stopped in ordered half dozen country boy kolaches and a half dozen donuts... $32!!! I asked the lady $32 what did I get that cost so much? she just pointed to the sign which wasn't legible cause the prices had been changed so many times. So I thought ok I support small business and paid. Get to work to share with co-workers and the kolaches were stale and the donuts tasted like the came from a bag of donut from walmart. Seriously disappointed

Love this place. Delicious.

They always have fresh donuts and kolaches available. We prefer this donut shop over any of the big-name shops!
