First time coming to the catch. The menu had a lot to choose from. The atmosphere was comfy and the place was clean. The food was surprisingly good. Very well seasoned, not pricey and I will be back.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food portions are pretty big enough to share. The flavor of the food is so good. We will definitely be coming back. We had the Gator basket the pieces of gater were a good size not like the popcorn chicken size we have had at other places. They tasted so good to. The fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes are also very good.

Food was hot and fresh. Shrimp were big and seasoned very well. No tartar sauce nor hot sauce needed. It was just that good.

Picked up order food tasted and looked as it had been under heat lamp. manager gave me the option come back for new order or bring back for refund. It was late said it was not coming back out that evening. Thats it . Ms Clarissa told the young man to relay message. Ni

I went to the Atascocita Dr on 12/1 and picked up 3 dinners total cost 54.36 I got home and the food was terrible. Food seemed old fish was not at all fresh. I had fried fish and okra it all seem to have been cooked earlier. We i called the Manager on duty Cariessa D said I could come back however it was already after 8pm and I told them I would not be back that night. Her resp;onse was that I could bring bacck the food for a refund. Which I had already stateed I was not ddriving back. I would like a refund for my order. Iam very disappointed I eat at the Catch at least one or twice a month and this is the first disappointment with my food and the service offered. I was not looking for a free meal on customer satisfaction.

We were extremely disappointed. We came for an early dinner, around 5PM. It had been recommended to us a while back as a good place to get seafood. If I ate at a place with worse seafood I cant remember when.

I had the sampler plate - catfish, shrimp, boudoin, hush puppies. I also had a cup of jambalaya. For our side i had corn on the cob and boiled potatoes. So I think we had virtually every seafood thing that they offer.

The hush puppies were ok. And they were the best part of the meal. The jambalaya was overcooked. It had obviously been sitting in the soup warmer all day. We weren't there very late in the day, but it had been in the cooker far too long. The shrimp were overcooked in the deep fat fryer. The boudoin was mushy and bland. The catfish was overcooked in the fryer and it tasted like the fryer grease hadn't been changed in a very long time. I generally eat most things even if they aren't perfect. But I vould only eat a couple of bites. The corn and potatoes were covered in butter ( as I requested). But the butter tasted old and perhaps rancid. I could only eat a couple of bites.

Regarding the dining area, it was clean and there was plenty of comfortable seating. It was easy to find close parking. The staff was competent and we received our food in a reasonable time.

The place is very expensive for a casual seafood place. My wife and I paid over $50. Which seems high for this casual restaurant.

We will not be going back.
