The Catch: Atascocita

I went to the Atascocita Dr on 12/1 and picked up 3 dinners total cost 54.36 I got home and the food was terrible. Food seemed old fish was not at all fresh. I had fried fish and okra it all seem to have been cooked earlier. We i called the Manager on duty Cariessa D said I could come back however it was already after 8pm and I told them I would not be back that night. Her resp;onse was that I could bring bacck the food for a refund. Which I had already stateed I was not ddriving back. I would like a refund for my order. Iam very disappointed I eat at the Catch at least one or twice a month and this is the first disappointment with my food and the service offered. I was not looking for a free meal on customer satisfaction.

The lady who took our order Clarissa, had no warm welcome. Didn’t ask can she help us just stood there looked at us until we placed our order. We didn’t know what we wanted and her face showed she was inpatient. It was our very first time there!!!! Her tone overall was not friendly or welcoming. Dry spirit just dry!!! No welcome in and no thank you on the way out. I don’t like giving my money where I feel my business does not matter. Good customer service goes a long way everyone is not made to be on the front line some people belong in the back!! Clarissa belongs in the back!

The boiled shrimp were hard to peel. The shell was stuck to the shrimp.
I will say the snow crabs we ok.
Definitely not worth what I paid.

This is seriously a hidden gem. Food is always great. I had the fish tacos which were amazing. Crawfish is nicely seasoned. The cajun pasta has great flavor and the jumbo shrimp are nice size. Plus its BYOB. Keep up the great work 👍🏽

Disappointing Service and Experience

I visited this location with my 2 girls hoping for a great and overdue mother daughter experience. Unfortunately, I had a less than satisfactory experience. Upon entering, I was greeted by a cashier, Abner B, who seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. When I tried to order chicken nuggets for my child, the cashier repeatedly told me they only had fish nuggets, which was confusing since I was clearly asking for chicken. After some back-and-forth, I was told that what they offered as 'chicken nuggets' were actually chicken tenders. My mistake but if I'm asking for chicken why are you repeating saying fish nuggets. It came off very sarcastic and extremely rude.

Additionally, when I asked if the kids' meal came with a drink, the cashier rolled his eyes and shook his head, which felt quite disrespectful. To top it off, my Caesar salad was overly dressed and not enjoyable at all.

Overall, it was a disappointing visit and I don't plan on returning.

Trashy place. My kids food was way under cook. Never ever would come back again!!!!¡!

This place is a joke. Having high school kids in charge!!!!! Literally 16-17 year old kids. Food comes out under cook because they are hurrying the kitchen up.

Good place with some nice Cajun dishes and fried seafood. I wasn’t crazy about eating gumbo in the dining area out of styrofoam/disposable bowl, but the gumbo was decent for a restaurant. Overall good experience and will return. But will not order gumbo again.

Normally, it was a favorite spot for me, but after the last experience, it was horrible. Every time I've ever been there, I only enjoy 2 things, the 1 lb of mild garlic butter crablegs and a sm beignets, and that's it only. Last week when I went I ordered my usual. Actually, I splurged a little, I ordered a 1 lb and a 1/2 of garlic butter crablegs and lg beignets. When did mild become hot? Had to send the 1/2 of lb crablegs back because they were hot, and they said she would take them off my bill, but that didn't happen. The next time, it was better, so okay, now for my beignets that I have yet to receive, so I ask for them, and the waitress is clueless. I explained that I ordered a lg beignets and since I'm leaving I want my order. She says she has to check the receipt, but she never gave me a receipt? She checks the register and tells me I never ordered them. No, I always order them because I only eat 2 things from here. So I just left, only to get home, and my last pound of crablegs are still hot instead of mild, I call mgmt, the next day and they basically flat out refused to a reasonable solution. Like the manager said that she would only be able to give me a crableg cluster, potato, and a half of corn/cob if I brought back whatever was left, I just took the all the crablegs back and walked away, and no I didn't look back!?! Just downright horrible service, refused a solution to keep my business, nope don't want to go back.

Food is good. . Nice people work there. The inside is plane, but clean and neat. Nothing special, but the food does make up for it.

You know when you are eating something that is so good that you just can't stop eating.....even when you know you are full? Well that is what the food is like from The Catch. The fried catfish, onion rings, and fried green tomatoes are my favorites and are the best I have ever had!
