The Curry House

This business has been going downhill. It used to be excellent quality, offered good customer service with lunch buffet option, and reliable outcomes. We stuck with them during Covid, ordering take out/delivery from them almost weekly. However, the quality of the food on the buffet started to vary (different cuts of meats, choices of dishes reduced). It became so poor, all I ordered anymore was the chicken tikka. Then today, they delivered stringy chicken with little salad, no rice as usually was provided - not clean cuts of chicken breast, marinated well, cooked in the tandoori and presented nicely. I didn't eat it. Very sad, to have gone down in quality and appeal while prices increased 25%. Will not be ordering from Curry house or eating there again.

I used to love this place but last time I ordered to go ( my favorite Madras Chicken) I got all the way home and it was dark meat. I’m a chicken breast, white meat only person. So I went in with my family today and stressed how I only like chicken breast. While they did try to accommodate me, they still brought me dark meat. Again, tried to fix the mistake, which I truly appreciate, but they had to add the butter chicken to my Madras so it wasn’t right. Also, both recipes have changed and they are not as good or what I wanted. I’m super disappointed because this was my favorite place. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Also they prices are so steep now at $19. The place is in serious need of cleaning and repair but I had been willing to let that go for the good food.

This was our first experience with Indian cuisine. The staff was so great! They were welcoming with our LARGE family and patient with our younger kids. The service was great. They made phenomenal suggestions on the dishes and described them well. Everything we had was incredibly flavorful! We will definitely be back!! Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful food by the chef and great service by our waitress Sarita. We come here every year and the restaurant keeps upgrading and highly recommended. One of the best food in town.

We have order vegetable Makhanwala and paneer tikka masala. Both the curries taste was good. Vegetables are of perfect size and cooked properly. Masala was smooth which was adding more flavour to the curry. Ordered Naan with the curry. Butter Naan and Garlic Naan was so soft.

Food is exceptional great flavor authentic best part is they even offer a buffet lunch option to be able to explore the various dishes from spicy to mild. Service is friendly and genuine kindness.

Food was amazing ,you can get many choices with only $22! The culture of India 🇮🇳 is described with great food. Amazing hospitality.

This place was amazing! My family and I had such a good time. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the downtown Houston area. The food was great and was provided super quickly.
