The food was great!! I had chicken and waffles, she did mention it would be a 15 min wait for my chicken to come out. I have no problem waiting that's the thing about food made to order. Speaking of food made to order it came out piping hot just like I love my waffles!!! The chicken was delicious...they batter it with a thin layer of batter and it's the perfect crisp. Staff was amazing, atmosphere was popping, I would definitely recommend to try this place! OH AND I LEFT A HUGE PIECE OF INFORMATION OUT..this place is cheap!! I eat out very often and the prices here compared to other places and the amount of food your getting is mind blowing! I wouldn't mind paying a little more because of the cost of economy and to be honest they should raise their prices a little to reflect that.

Visiting from CT, wanted to see what the hype was. Waited an hour and a half for my food. They were very busy, & I get that. But the female at the register was horrible and had a nasty attitude. Customers were angry and trying to get refunds left and right. It’s weird, I’ve never seen a restaurant kind of fall apart before my own eyes. Maybe it would’ve been better to go to the other location but this one was not it!

I ordered chicken & peach cobbler waffles. I’m not a waffle/ breakfast person but I decided to do something differently. I’m glad I did!!! The food was fresh and tasted great! I will definitely stop again if I’m passing through.Parking: Plenty of parking. Enough space in the back for the truck drivers that want to stop by also.
I pulled over just to eat and leave a review! I got the shrimp and grits and it brought me back to New Orleans! So much flavor and love put into the food. It was my first time and I’ll definitely be back at the humble location! Good people and great vibes!!!

The turtle waffles were very good. They had a generous amount of warm chocolate syrup on top and the chicken strips weren't bad but they weren't as good as I expected them to be. I'd still recommend this place for the waffles though. I liked it.

A 100% waste of my Easter Sunday, I came in with about 5 other of my family members, I ordered my food first and got my meal last after (45 minutes) and it was incomplete, which took another(45 minutes for some grits and eggs) because they ran out of cooked grits) the girl that took our order stayed on her phone texting the whole time, the 1 cook was slow as ever..and on top of that everyone’s order was incomplete or just completely wrong, including mine..I am completely disgusted with the service. Where was the management and the rest of the staff?? It’s really sad that it was only 2 girls running the whole restaurant and failing terribly. I love supporting black owned businesses, but this was a very annoying experience to say the least.
