“It's a great place for a Boy Scout to go for summer camp.I helped build the place.Using dynomite to blast holes in the limestone for bathrooms.My boss was a hard driving old feller we called Uncle Duder.I hope the camp manager's house is still there.It was right next to Bear Creek which flows down the middle of the camp,right into the North fork of the Guadalupe River.“
