I visited the old Cafe Texan pretty often as when I visited Hunstville, and was sad to see it go. I had no idea they reopened. I am happy to see it still delivers excellent food and service. The building has a major face-lift and modernized vibe, but still delicious and worth the stop.

We wanted to try something new with our family while visiting our granddaughter at SHSU. We found Cafe Texan and we were so pleased. The wait staff was wonderful and so helpful. The food was delicious and hot. The atmosphere was so pleasant and the museum was a wonderful way to spend a little time with our 9 year old grandson.I highly recommend Cafe Texan as the place to go when you really want something that is just quaint and pleasurable. If I lived in Huntsville this would be the place for lunch and business meetings or family gatherings.If you visit here be prepared for an enjoyable experience. It is worth your time for sure.

This beautiful little place is tucked in the heart of downtown Huntsville. The older locals don’t love it because it’s “not like the old Cafe Texan,” but I am here to tell you it is amazing. Been there for Breakfast Brunch and Lunch and all were phenomenal experiences. Highly recommend.

Food was really good and is on the fancier side, but the prices were decent. Service was alright. I will say the museum is interesting, but it has no scope so it is basically artifacts from all over the world & from a bunch of different eras. It looks nice, but everything seems so random & unorganized.
