While traveling to Dallas from Houston stopped for dinner. The is close to the interstate and we enjoy eating at local restaurants instead of chains when we can. This is an open area with picnic tables and several permanent food trucks around. The main one is Arnauds. You will walk up to the window place your order and pay. They will call your name when food is ready. They do have a lot of choices to choose from with specials each day. I chose the three fish and shrimp special and my husband got the pork chop. Took about 10 minutes to wait for the food. All of it is fried but was nice and hot and fish very flaky and good. Came with fries and red beans and rice. The red beans and rice was very good. The hush puppies were not very good as they were small and tasteless. Fries were frozen type. They do have boiled seafood choices as well with crawfish,crab claws,and shrimp. You can add a flavor to their ice tea which my husband did. He got the peach flavor and really liked it. This is a very family friendly place with lots of seating Very clean and has bathrooms available. Would go back if in the area
