The Big E-Z Crawfish & Oyster Bar

I took a drive to Huntsville to meet my son for lunch, he had just finished his last class for the day. He ordered (2) shrimp tacos and 2 bite and told me he didn’t like it. I asked our server if they could take this off our bill she said she had to ask the manager. I finished my meal that was good but when our waitress came back she said the manager said no. I can’t believe this kind of customer service. We usually go there several times a month and have never had a problem with the food. I just wanted to inform you this could also happen to you. The manager could have atleast come talk to us but she didn’t. I feel they could have accommodated us better than they did on this situation.

Server was good, they had live music. But unfortunately we sat by the door which was crowded of people waiting for a table. The crawfish was not good, they kept breaking in half and the crab meat was sticking on the shell and not sliding out. It was all over cooked because our eggs were rubbery. It was a busy night so maybe that was it. Wish I would’ve ordered different food because it did look great looking at other tables.

The staff was rude when I went to pick up the order. I walked in and they told me to go back out and go through the drive thru. When I called to tell them that my sauce was missing out of the bag, the person who answered the phone was rude and stated “You can come get it if you want but other than that, there’s nothing else I can do.”

Beware of the “Bar menu” lAll drinks say what alcohol is in it but not the lemonade/tea. That’s what I ordered and was surprised it had vodka in it. When I refused it after one taste the bartender got nasty and wouldn’t take it off my bill so I got a manager and pointed out the error on the menu she was professional and removed it all the while the bartender was literally yelling behind her back at me saying it’s a bar menu. He should have walked away when the manager took over. People all around the bar were in disbelief and another patron read it and said you are right it’s confusing. The bartender was rude and unprofessional and has a bad attitude

We went for lunch on March 2 specifically for crawfish. We had a party of 2 so we opted to sit at the bar. Service was decent. We each ordered the Reba so we could have crawfish and shrimp. Shrimp was bland. Crawfish had ALOT of legs and broken crawfish (only heads and no tails). When we brought it to the bartenders attention, we were told “oh, I’ve never seen it like that before. That never happens”. Then she walked away. I eat crawfish a lot. And used to love Big Es crawfish. But this trip left me extremely disappointed with the food and the service.

I normally enjoy eating here, however, I’m not sure why this time, the crawfish was just awful. I’m unsure if it was because they were busy or what. The crawfish, or should I say the pieces of the crawfish that were on my plate, were just awful. To start, they were dry, not juice at all, then I had what felt like every scrap from the bottom of the boil pot on my plate. I am sad to say I won’t be coming back for the crawfish anytime soon. We also ordered boiled shrimp, and it was overdone, and chewy, at least it had flavor, which I can’t say for the crawfish. I ate about three of the crawfish before deciding to stop eating and have one of the bus boys take it from the table.

To continue my waitress, for whatever, unprovoked reason, felt the need to point at my vape, which was sitting on my key, untouched, and tell me not to hit it, I generally would not feel any way about this, but again, it was untouched and I don’t hit it when I am in restaurants. For the remainder of my dinner, we could not get her help for anything. We were done with dinner for a good 20 minutes before we could grab her to get our check. She then took a good 15 minutes to bring the check.

Didn't eat here picked up a doordash order from there from the amount of people that were in the restaurant and how busy they were i assume it's good.

Crawfish was pretty good. Small to medium sized, good flavor , a little spicy, $8.99 a pound. I just poured butter on mine. At the bottom was lots of the crawfish parts but I guess that is to be expected. I only eat the tail.

In their defense, it was very busy. Boiled shrimp were cooked too long as was hamburger parry (almost crispy). Service was awesome but it is very noisy when crowded. Would like to give it another chance when crowd is smaller.

We went there to eat today and it was busy, but there were at least a half a dozen tables before that were clean and open and probably another six tables for six and the girl told us they was gonna be a 20 minute wait there was really no need for that. They had plenty of waitresses so we won’t be going there again.
