I've eaten at most of the Texas Monthly crowned BBQ joints and this HEB location competes with them all
Brisket was very flavorful with his bark.
The creamed corn is as good an anyone's!
But, the Burnt Ends we're the best I've ever eaten - by far!
This is my second time trying this BBQ and I love it … on Friday the 13th my order was not right. I spoke to a manager name Tia who apologized several times and offered to rectify the problem immediately but I told I would come the next day. The next day a young lady named Marrissa took very good care of me with no hesitation and I appreciate that. Thanks you all definitely are pleasant kind and you made me happier than I was about my order Thanks !!! I will still recommend this place.

Had a really good experience with true Texas BBQ catering. Called last minute requesting catering delivery after a mishap, and they put together the order extremely fast and delivered it with no issues. I am grateful to the team here for getting me out of a tight spot! Y'all saved my bacon? I mean BBQ!

Stopped here after a long day of shopping. We were very hungry so money was not an object. My husband ordered one beef rib and I ordered a chopped beef sandwich. We sat down to eat and the flies were everywhere. That was so frustrating! As I ate my sandwich I decided to try the BBQ sauce and it was disgusting. The flavor was horrible and seemed to not blend properly. My husband got upset that his rib was fatty and once he found out I paid $30 for that hunk of fat he said oh no ma'am and went to return it. The lady at the register was very kind and we had to wait for her manager to turn the key and I got my money back for it. Overall I can't blame the staff. The owners need to do better. Get honest opinions from people who eat food that's seasoned better. Get rid of the flies too please.

A friend and I ordered take-out. We had never eaten here before. I cannot speak for her, but as for me, I will never order again. All was cold. The brisket was only so-so and the potato salad and Mac 'n Cheese were lackluster in taste. Sorry HEB, but nothing about this was TRUE Texas BBQ!!
