Food was excellent! I had the frito pie dog with lays and a sprite. My partner got the same thing except with takis and Diet Coke. We shared a side of slaw. I suggest putting the takis and slaw on top of the frito pie dog! Absolutely delicious and will be coming back.

I got the vegan hot dog chili cheese with all the trimmings plus drink and chips $7.49 and she delivered it to my vehicle with good disposable silverware, not those cheap tiny things that break easily. And it looked exactly as the pictures they have on FB. Good prices. Good parking. Free wifi. The gal that works there is the sweetest & personable, Ms. Brittany. We will return. Excellent food and service. Very clean also.

Cute place, nice people. Didn’t like the food, I got the chili dog. It was very cold on the inside and hot on the outside. So I can only suspect chef microwave works there.Very disappointed. Chili was alright. Overall the establishment is very subpar.

Oh man, I felt so hesitant being the first negative review. But I feel the need to give others a heads up about my experience at the Dog Gone Vegan Food Truck.Their food is really cheap; fed 3 for under $30.Mediocre at best. The hotdogs are made of "some sort of soy mixture".I noticed their food looked nothing like it did on their online pictures. I found that off-putting because Brittany said the owner takes pride in their recipes but go on their website or Facebook page or Google business page and take a look at the pictures they post. You'll notice they have really beautiful photos of their food. I did a simple Google lens search and found the exact photo they stole from a recipe website! And guess what? The recipes that the owner takes so much pride in are just online recipes. Yes, their soups, risottos, brownies, etc are all just from online recipes. That's not so terrible, but I dislike the fact that they are deceiving customers by implying the recipes are theirs, and that they are using the professional photos taken by the original creator of the recipe to advertise as their own food.They didn't have any desserts. Ms. Brittany said she had ingredients but hasn't had time bc so hectic even tho there was only like 2 people there and she was just hanging around. They didn't have half of the menu, no mini dogs, no brownie, no ice cream.They microwaved my son's food, sausage center was freezing cold. She just popped it back into the microwave until it was scorching hot. Didn't even offer to bring out a new one after touching it.They likely use food up to 6 days, and said they "have to throw food out after 7 days".The overall vibe is very welcoming. There is no restroom, but that's not a major complaint in my eyes since it's a food truck. But thought I would mention that anyway. You would need to use the library or computer lab restroom across the street.Brittany was extremely friendly, I love their mission which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 star.I also like that they have live music events, supporting local musicians.Anyway hope this helps anyone that is going on with the expectations I had.

What a gem! Brittany and Patricia who run the place were very welcoming. Hearty portions. Super fresh ingredients. Healthy options. Great prices. Quick service. Plenty of parking. Free Wifi. Nice vibes on the patio. I got the vegan burrito bowl and the street corn that comes in it was my favorite part. I'm excited to go back to try their soup of the day or one of their frito hot dogs. Great choice for everyone but especially if you're vegetarian, pescetarian, lactose intolerant or vegan! ♥️

I was in Huntsville, Texas, for some recreational activities and worked up an appetite. Of course I did a search and the first thing that popped up when looking for vegan restaurants is a little food truck called Dog gone vegan. It’s a family run business, and what a great little place. I was greeted and quickly shown a very unique menu. I got the burrito bowl. The portion size was very healthy. The food was extremely clean, filling and very tasty. This is my first time here but definitely won’t be my last. The vegan hot dogs will be my next menu choice.

I love the Burrito bowl here. I would get it every day if it were open on the weekend. They only have outdoor seating and the summer heat is almost unbearable for me. I usual take my food home.Vegetarian options: I really haven’t got anything but the burrito bowl.Parking: There is free parking all around the place.
Although it was an extra hot Texas day, the food was amazing! We didn’t even notice the heat after we started eating. We were lucky to find this little gem on our travels ☺️

I got the frito pie dog and brownie, I’m not even vegan but WOW it was soooo good. I will definitely be coming back, the patio is beautiful, the owner and people working there are so nice and genuine, and unlike most vegan spots you 100% get your money’s worth
