Had a family dinner here (11 of us, most couldn't make it). Bobby was fantastic! He was in control the whole time. Delivered the food to the right person, kept drink glasses filled, brought added items when asked, handled 4 separate checks correctly. Make him a manager. Our 2 meals were very good. Everyone else said good things about there's. The avocado enchilada was delicious.Kid-friendliness: My nephew brought his 3 little ones (1,3,5) and they were easily accommodated.

Place is beautiful, everyone was very nice and caring, food was delicious and came out quickly. They serve free chips with salsa which made the wait even shorter!

My husband and I went there last week because we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary! A big deal for us!! We went early afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Was seated immediately and my husband, being proud of our milestone, told the hostess! Very nice lady but basically had no reaction. No, we didn't expect fanfare but we chose your restaurant to celebrate....so then our waitress comes. My husband, once again, tells her we're celebrating our anniversary. Barely got a smile from her. At that point I told my hubby to stop telling the staff why we chose Abuelo's. The food was great!! No complaints. I ordered a frozen margarita which had little to absolutely no alcohol in it but was charged like it did. In the middle of our meal, the waitress suddenly disappeared!! I had to flag down a busboy to get another order of drinks (once again, mine had no alcohol in it)!! The the waitress suddenly reappeared and acted like no big deal. But it was to us! We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Although the food was really good, the mood sucked the celebration right out of us. We will never be back. 20 years to us was huge but to feel like we got the wind sucked out of us by lousy staff was enough to look elsewhere. Thanks Abuelo's but never again!!
