Im so disappointed in this place!!! The food was so terrible I left it on the table untouched. The service was awful, The grease was black in the fryer, and the fryer was so nasty it couldn't be over looked! This is a fairly new establishment, but with my second attempt to patronize and they still don't hv it together, I will not be returning! I didn't even bother getting my money back, I just will NEVER return!
The food was finger licking good you hear meh. The meat just melts in your mouth like butter. The staff was awesome and a blessing to me and my family. They really made me feel like family and loved here. Please come to this place if you want some good food

Far exceeded my expectations in food and service. My group of friends were all in agreement to with how delicious everything was. Potato salad, greens, fried fish, brisket, ribs... It was all well seasoned and made to order. I would highly recommend.
This place is so good. We had the chopped brisket sandwiches and their sauce was perfect and the mac and cheese was excellent (might be a little salty for some). The cornbread was also perfect- warm, crumbly, just a little sweet. Wanted to go into a food coma after, the same kind you have after Thanksgiving dinner. The staff was so friendly and courteous, and the dining area was clean, right down to the blinds being dusted. Wish I could give 6 stars.
Amazing atmosphere and the food is even better. Our family of 5 each got something different and everything we had was perfect! Price was great too! 100% will be returning!!!
I went because I heard it was good. It was not. My brisket was beyond dry and flavorless, the ribs were ok, nothing to write home about, the greens were salty and the Mac n cheese was meh. Very disappointed to have spent $53 for something we just threw away.
I ordered meat for 70 people and it BARELY was enough food for 30 people!!!! i spoke with the owner 3 times to ensure this would be enough food ! i am pretty sure i only got half of what i ordered. also when i got there they tried to give me 20 sets of plastic wear and 1 medium size container of BBQ sauce for 70 PEOPLE! when i asked about getting more and the OWNER was VERY rude and said we have strict limits on what we can send......or that my portions seemed VERY small from what was discussed.UPDATE: no it was NOT suggested that i order a whole brisket.
The food just wasn't that great and it's kind of expensive! We tried the chopped beef Sandwich. The meat wasn't chopped enough. It did have a smoke ring but not a lot of flavor. The Mac n cheese was mushy. BBQ sauce was good. No kid plates. Nice size portions. The 1/2 chicken plate is 2 leg quarters 13.95. No white meat chicken available.
For someone who comes from Kansas City bbq this spot did not disappoint Mac was great greens were great ribs were on point also had the brisket sandwich that was also great if I ever want bbq I wont think twice about where I’m going
When I tell you the experience was great I mean that! From customer service to the food (banana pudding cake is a must try). The food is well seasoned and tender, the vibe is nice and comforting for a family lunch or dinner visit, and it’s pretty accessible. Go take a visit you won’t regret it!
Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere
Parking: Free parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty bathroom space, wheelchair access to get in, and booth table option.

Definitely one of the best BBQ spots in DFW! The ribs were perfectly seasoned and the meat tender. The Mac had the perfect amount of cheese to seasoning ratio, in addition to a great texture. The greens are probably some of the best I’ve had in the area, even beating out a lot of the soul food spots. A lot of the reviews on here mention that the greens are spicy, I think that if you are not used to soul food or Cajun style cuisine you may not know what to expect from southern greens. I didn’t think they were overly spicy at all, but full of flavor! Classic potato salad was also on point. Customer service was a 10/10, I will definitely be back!
Finally made the drive to see what all the hype was about. I had the chicken (supposed be half a chicken but was only a leg quarter for $15 ?) with cabbage & macaroni and cheese. My lunch date had the sliced brisket plate with barbecue beans and potato salad. Food came it fast, was fresh and well seasoned. The bread was cold and I was really hoping for Texas toast. The fountain drinks weren't working so you had to buy a bottled drink but all in all it was a good 1st visit. I'll be back. ?
This is by far some of the worst!I ordered the rib plate and chopped brisket plate 2 small collard greens, 1 small Mac and cheese and 1 small cabbage which totaled to about $40Upon ordering I asked if my chopped brisket could be lean, meaning no fat or less fat as possible the answer was no. I should have left then but wanted to give the food a chance. When I got home and opened my brisket plate there were chunks of fat (I’ll insert picture), being that the brisket is sold by the pound keep in mind that means you’ll get half fat and half brisket. The brisket was old because when fresh meat is sold fresh or even a day old the grease from it doesn’t show as quickly and when I got home the brisket was already changing to a grease like color. After tasting the greens I was unable to eat them because they were extremely spicy! I like spicy but not to point where my food is not edible. The cabbage had a funny taste and was overcooked, the Mac and cheese taste like garlic powder and very watery. The man in the front which I learned is called “Pit Master Mike” did not acknowledge me as a customer he walked in front of me and never answered any questions and being that I was a first time customer and he’s doing the cooking or grilling I would’ve thought he would at the least say something, no not a word just a not so welcoming face. There were two young ladies there who worked the cash register and they did the best they could.I recommend don’t dash and splash seasoning and taste everything before you open to sell and serve customers.I will not be a returning customer!
The ribs were OK, and the only thing I finished. The greens had great flavor but were just way too hot (not temperature). Macaroni was runny and tasted like garlic powder. Cabbage tasted like pure butter and was overcooked. First-time customer, and will not be returning.Hurst, Texas location
Haven't been to this BBQ place since it seemed to be closed but apparently they had a fire. As of last summer they are back up and running and I finally got to try them out.Got the lunch ribs plate. The ribs were perfectly cooked, falling off the bone and pretty tasty on their own or slathered with sauce. The greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned with a hot sauce of some kind that gave them a bit of a Cajun kick. All in all, this was a hot and tasty BBQ meal that was so big that I'm making 2 meals out of it! Check out the picture I included. Each rib is ginormous!
