Great experience! After receiving numerous recommendations for La Bistro, I had dinner there the other night for the first time. The lasagna was excellent! Layered perfectly and firm. I was told the lasagna was a family recipe that has been served at La Bistro for over forty years! The wait staff was very tenured and professional, and therefore impeccable service! I certainly felt very much welcomed there. Loved the old school Sinatra era vibe and décor! Great bourbon selection too!

If you live in tarrant county and haven’t been to La Bistro, then you’re missing out! Best food! Best service! There’s not a better atmosphere for a date! Get here!

We have dined here many times and have NEVER had a bad meal! Plus, what they did for the flood victims was beyond generous!

Go. Just go. The steak on the rock. PHENOMENAL. The bread pudding. Impeccable. And surprisingly - the date cake is SO good, I don’t like dates and it was so good. Antonio is a great server, the host made us feel like family. What a great environment. Definitely give it a shot. You won’t regret it

We came to this charming restaurant last weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary and could not have found a better spot to celebrate our love. We walked into the lovely pianist playing love songs on the piano & then we were seated at a beautifully set table. Our server was excellent & helped us narrow down our options on the menu. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms which were my favorite choice of the evening, followed by the best tomato basil soup w fresh grated Parmesan that we had ever tasted. We followed up with the chicken sunrise pasta dish which was creamy divinity according to my love. I had the lobster ravioli which I shared with him and we both loved it! The taste and presentation were amazing. This was one of the most romantic spots we had ever stumbled upon and found out it was family owned and been a gem in the community for over 40 years. They also give back to the community as they had just had a four day event where they donated all of their proceeds to the Texas flood victims. If you want a 1940-1950’s style Italian bistro charm that makes you feel like you are on the set of a gangster film in New York go to this restaurant. They ended the evening by surprising us for our anniversary with their famous date cake fresh out of the oven and still warm with whipped cream and strawberries. It was delicious!! We will most certainly be back. Don’t hesitate to make this a date night or family celebration destination. Loved every minute of it!

The person who seated us was not friendly, didn't smile. The waiter was rushed and seemed unhappy. The food was hit and miss. One of the dishes was very bad and one was average. The selections of wines by the glass was very limited and the white wine was not cold. We ordered a 2nd glass to share and asked if would make sure it was cold. It was not cold. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. There are many better Italian restaurants in the greater Fort Worth area.

La Bistro hosted a fund raiser for the Hill Country floods with 100 percent of the revenue being contributed. They are a wonderful community based business that has been serving this area for decades. They are the real deal!

What a great family to donate ALL money spent to help the flood victims. It's been a while since I've eaten there because it's far from where I live and work, but the food and service were good when I last went.

I definitely recommend visiting here for good food and to support a business that really helps the community.

What a cool little spot we found! Antonio was funny and attentive. The vibe is NYC 40s and Sinatra. He wasn't mad I asked to alter the recipes. The crab cake was the best I've ever had. The chicken cordon blue is a tomato base FYI, not cream. He surprised us with a date cake that was delicious!! Personal attention and great memories. Such a great experience. We will be back for sure.
