We drove up to the place tonight. Unfortunately they have closed for good. There were workmen redoing the place and they are transitioning to a Mexican place. I suspect it'll take a month or so. I was disappointed that we were unable to try it as I like to find new small places. We wound up at a new place that we have seen but had not tried, Christnia's which I'll review later.

Now Red Sea Fish. Server was nice but spoke little English. "Salad" had no lettuce and a load of jalapeno but had good flavor. Whole fried fish was ok. Fried fillets, calamari and shrimp were good. Coleslaw was sweet and premade. Little girl played her phone game at loudest volume. If I wanted to hear that I'd let my kids do it at home, which I don't.

The quality of food is so good and the serving sizes are so generous, I have literally no idea how they stay open considering how low their prices are (I honestly think they're selling some of the fish at cost). I've never had something I didn't like as far as their seafood goes, and their smoked chicken is my absolute favorite thing for takeout in the area. It's definitely worth checking out if you live near or far!

This place is a gem! I've never had food like this before and it was fresh, delicious, full of flavor. The owner is so sweet and friendly, and kindly took the head off my fish because I asked. Great fresh food, delicious sides and a lovely atmosphere! GO! It's so good!

The shrimp is so off putting , it comes whole and with legs and a shell. When you bite in it's completely flavorless. But seasoned on the shell.. the octopus is like it was leftovers from a previous day warmed up. If. I didn't live 20 mins away I'd go get my money back. Such a disappointment. I took one bite of shrimp and like 3 baby octopus and now I feel sick. I have no idea what to do. I just know I'm never coming back. Also no forks or napkins for to go orders. I ordered takeout and still had to wait when I arrived and Called it in 20 mins before arriving. I should have never waited , especially after seeing the inside of the place its completely dirty.

I have been looking for a seafood place in the area. I'm sure this place has changed owners since these pics were taken. The staff which was obviously family was very nice. So much so that I feel bad leaving a negative review. The fish was fresh but everything else was unimpressive. The main concern was cleanliness. I'm not a germaphobe but everything from the menus to the tables to the floors to the high chair in the back of the restaurant was filthy, not just dirty, filthy. The door you see in the back of the restaurant is missing now and the bathroom door was wide open. Imagine having a meal and looking up and seeing the bathroom. This place needs TLC. The people are great.

Since our first visit in 2018 the ownership changed. Thankfully the quality of food didn't. My wife ordered whole grilled fish (I forgot what type) and I ordered grilled shrimp and fried catfish nuggets. The only complaint I have is that the fish and shrimp was a tad over salted for my preference. Also the sides such as the fries and hush puppies are previously frozen. For a place that makes delicious fish, those two things are not a big deal. We will definitely plan on being back. Also if you're not a fish fan, they also serve chicken, which the owner suggested we try on our next visit.

I will preface this by saying they confirmed that they are new owners as of a couple months ago, and the place could definitely be cleaner (menus were dirty, hot sauces old and nasty, and bathroom needed some live). However, I will give it 5 stars for good reasons!

The Mediterranean chicken was very good. So was the small Red Snapper, just be careful of the bones. Overall, the food was very good. Service was slow, as there's only one person. But everything is cooked to order and very fresh.
