The first time my wife and I went, we got the Birria tacos and they were phenomenal! The margaritas were on point and very strong. We decided to go back and take our kids with us to get some tacos for dinner. It turned out to be a pretty terrible experience after all. They got our order wrong in multiple ways. The management was dismissive and did not seem very pleased to have to fix my order that they messed up. One taco had a tiny little roach in it. It literally crawled out of the taco while I was talking to the manager and she just slid the taco off the counter into the trashcan and didn’t say a word. No, “I’m sorry about that.” No “let me get that fixed for you.” She just walked off. She eventually brought me a remake of the taco, but by then I really didn’t want to eat there anymore. She also brought me a bunch of coupons for free tacos in the future, but do I really want to go back? Not if they have bugs in their food! I was really grossed out. Mostly I was disappointed that the management seemed so flippant about all of it.

I've always received great service at Rusty Taco off Blvd 26 in North Richland Hills TX. The food is made quick yet still fresh and delicious.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the food was a big letdown. The street fritters were nothing more than a ball of mush, and the sauce piled on top was so overpowering it didn’t complement them at all. The so-called “steak” tacos didn’t even look or taste like steak, and everything was way too greasy. On top of that, neither the meat nor the fajita veggies had any real seasoning. Honestly, I should’ve just stuck with my queso and chips.

I wanted to like this place but it wasn't a very good experience. The meat in the taco was dried out and the staff clearly didn't want to be there. The tables were dirty and the floor had debris everywhere.
I have used their catering in the past so I was excited to bring a friend here. Neither of us were impressed. Maybe we caught them on a bad day or shift but it will be a while before I try again.
