One of the 2019 Texas Monthly interim top 25 'cue joints-- and still worthy of a spot today! This was our 98th BBQ stop in Texas, and the 397th on a 35 state BBQ odyssey. $25.71 purchased a quarter pound of fatty brisket, a jalapeno cheddar sausage link, sides of elote (cold) and jalapeno apple coleslaw, with two refillable iced teas. Everything was top notch. The well-smoked brisket featured the classic central Texas rub, and was so buttery that you could cut it with a fork. The sausage was beautifully balanced, and both sides paired well with the meats; indeed, we judged the coleslaw a “must do” side. In sum, this is what we style “destination 'cue.” Just be sure to check their facebook page to guarantee that they will be opening as scheduled (they also cater).Parking: Gravel approach from the highway to a gravel parking lot.

Brisket, ribs and jalapeño cheddar sausage were all excellent. Their take on elotes is different than most but really good. Service was very friendly and even they even offer a discount for military. I guess my one complaint would be that the beans were not ready yet (I got there just as they were opening).
Made our now weekly Friday bbq and burger run... this place just gets better and better. the burgers were amazing, and Louie the Bulldog says the sausage wrap was the best he ever had. Tonight was lean brisket night and tater salad.. both were spectacular....you can tell by our clean plates!

I have eaten more BBQ in Cen-Tex than most. Millers BBQ in the area was.....my go to.... This spot is now my favorite..by far. And they salute our Veterans by offering a discount as well. Order a brisket sandwich no sauce and the sandwich was perfect. The brisket was moist good bark and flavor. I ordered a side of the beans for an additional charge but well worth it. Looking forward to trying out the other items on the menu. Will be back!
High quality bar-b-que, extreme quality and value, and sausage that is sublime. It's a family affair and you can taste the love in their food. You can sit outside or in a very cozy and clean casita next to the truck. Portions are big, sides are well considered. And all of was technically perfect. They know their way around a brisket and perfected just about everything else down to the home made pickles. Under $35 for two big eaters to get their fill here. That's in direct opposition to the $100 I spent last week at another well known shop.

This place is amazing! The service was very prompt, polite, and well carried out. The food is some of the best barbecue I have had in this area in a long time! I had brisket, sausage, and their sides of street corn and potato salad. There wasn't a single thing on the plate I did not love. Worth the trip!
