Years ago I thought it would be really great to have a fast food place where you can get healthy food on the go. And then somone else made it happen! Earlier this year, my husband and I stumbled upon Salad and Go and were immediately hooked! Great (healthy) food choices at reasonable prices accompanied by fantastic staff/service! ? Every time we go to this location the service is impeccable and friendly. I especially want to give a shoutout to Joy, the young lady at the drive-thru window, who truly lives up to the meaning of her name. :) P.S. PLEASE bring back the Blueberry Basil drinks! We love and miss those!

First of all, every salad is made to order. The salads are not premade. Secondly, the ingredients are fresh daily, and just like fresh ingredients... sometimes they oxidize from the time the store opens, until the dinner rush (common sense) ... especially avocados. And lastly, these are our Hutto youth working here. Learning work ethics and skills. No one needs your negative comments about the staff being "hood rats". If you are incapable of having constructive criticism, then eat at home.
My personal experiences (which is weekly), the salads are always on point... especially the new one with beets. The staff are always courteous, and my order never takes longer than 2-3 minutes. This location is a blessing to Hutto, cause Lord knows we were tired of the pizza and chicken.

I have enjoyed salads here since it opened. I was always pleased with the freshness and amount of greens, protein, toppings, and dressing. My favorite has always been the Asian salad with chicken. Today, however, that changed. Freshness is still there. Amount has noticeably decreased for the price: Container is smaller, dressing packaging is smaller, there is less protein and toppings on the lettuce. When I took it home to eat I had to add to the salad so it wasn’t bland. This is disheartening because I thought I had found the perfect healthy, flavorful salad at a reasonable price. It is sad to see these changes have happened at Salad and Go.

I ordered a Cobb salad. My order was supposed to be ready at 7:15. I arrive at 7:28 and it’s not ready. No problem I will wait as my items are usually ready fast.
I get home and I am missing the egg, part of the avocado is slightly brown, and some of the lettuce looks past its prime. I know fresh ingredients oxidize but these should not have made it into the bowl.
Normally the salad is good but I usually order around lunch. Today I ordered for dinner.
I did call to complain. They were apologetic offered to make a new one but after driving there and back home that’s too much time lost on a weeknight.
I’ll go back to lunch ordering only when it’s usually a great experience.

Just ordered a Jalepeno Ranch wrap here. Having ordered these many times I was very disappointed. The wrap was about half the size it normally is, it had absolutely zero bacon in it and no cheese. It only had lettuce, pickled red onion, corn and chicken. Nothing worse than feeling like you wasted your money and still hungry. This place usually is flawless every time I go. Very disappointed.
Love the staff here and the chicken Buffalo wrap is my favorite ♡

The employees here are ALWAYS polite and friendly! My salad is always fresh and their blueberry basil tea lemonade is sooo good! I have yet to try the breakfast but it looks good. Def give this place a try!

I like to order from the app and it’s always ready by the time I leave to pick up my order. They have really good tofu here. I always get a wrap with tofu, spicy black beans, spinach/romain, tomatoes, avocado. If you don’t get the extra tofu, you can get a decent sized wrap for $6.99. Even extra tofu and premium topping is still under ten bucks. They’re fast and consistent and a great option when I want to eat healthy on the go.
