Love Snuffy's Place. 5 dive bar. Fantastic burgers and bacon cheese tots. When it's busy you'll have no difficulty making conversation and new friends. There is indoor smoking so be aware of that.

The food was very tasty and served hot which I really like. Also, they were running a special, which always makes the food taste better. The only drawback to Snuffy's is that they still have active smoking in this restaurant. I waited nearly 40 years for my first visit here because I was hoping by now they would have become non-smoking. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to wait another 40.My waitress was taking care of everybody in the restaurant, and was totally on top of everything. One of the best wait-persons I have had in a couple of years.Parking: Don't park on the east side of the restaurant because you will get hauled. Parking is behind the restaurant and in front of the building across the drive. You can also park on the west side street.

I can't rate the food since I never was able to order! Completely ignored by the bartender as I watched him pass back and forth taking care of two other tables that came in after me. Ridiculous!

As far as "Dive Bars" go, this place is great. Bartender was attentive as he could be for as busy as it was. Drink prices were reasonable. Great mix of patrons. Bar was very clean. Beware, you will have to deal with some smoke but for those of us who grew up in the 70's it was like stepping back in time. We walked around downtown for a couple hours having drinks at all the local places and this is the one that will be first on our list next time.
Great food, loved the homemade onion rings, big burgers.... You will not be disappointed!

Gotta say Snuffys has the BEST Burger out of every place I have tried before. They have always had the best Burger. Was tired of trying to find another restaurant that would even come close to the Snuffys Burger so my husband and I went back to Snuffys sat during Hutto Ole Tyme Days. OMG, it was so worth it!!. We are def going to go back when we are in the mood for just a good Ole Burger. I highly recommend you try their burger out if you haven't. I don't know who owns or runs snuffys now, but thank God they still use the same recipe as they did many many years ago.
