We ordered 2 egg and ham tacos and a chorizo and egg taco from the breakfast menu. We also added the bogo chicken tacos. Unfortunately they were quite bad! If these tacos were a dollar it’s whatever but if you want to charge over 5 you have to make a little effort, just a little! The eggs were awful, we threw them out. The ham and egg taco was so wet we had to use paper towels to dry them out- soggy! The chicken was very dry and not very appetizing. Maybe we got unlucky but this was a first and last time order.

I had the Chicken Fajitas plate. Chicken appeared baked or airfried, not grilled. Flan was excellent. I went through the drive thru line. Something wasn't right; they kept getting my order wrong. Fortunately, there was a screen showing my order. Probably go back for Flan. Other better places nearby for Tex-Mex at comparable prices.

I frequently go to this Taco Palenque since it is so close to the HEB grocery store. Very happy with what I've gotten every single time. I really like the limited time items like the huge $8 spicy chicken burrito currently going on. They're usually a lot cheaper than the combos that are always available.
I'll happily continue coming back this place is awesome. Also Cindy is awesome!

They limit the meat on each entree. Taco is not filled all the way with fajita or any meat. Panchos were just literally nachos & a sprinkle of protein/meat. Sucks because I can’t enjoy the food as it’s intended.

Food is great. However, last night, Saturday, June 14, several errors were made on our order. Ordered two tacos but only received one. Ordered a small guacamole that didn't show up. Ordered refried beans with 3 corn tortillas. Did not get the tortillas. After letting the staff know, we got the second taco and small guacamole. ALSO, the posted open hours are misleading. Says open until 11pm. But at 10pm, they locked the doors and removed the salsa bar items. About 10:30pm, they threw us out. Several potential customers tried to enter around 10pm, but found the doors locked.

Taco Palenque is always on point but today the food quality was terrible. The orange cheese is not queso. The thick chips are not not fresh, the scoop of guacamole is good for a single chip. These nachos were a waste of money and gas. The serving is huge BUT bigger is not better. I feel sick so I must end my review. 🤢
