“Food was great. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my son had the kids chicken strips meal. Everything was tasty and fresh. Service would have been 5 stars but my son was asking about one of the treats in the freezer cooler (buster bar) and the girl at the counter didn’t know what it was. That’s okay. “Enjoyed a night here a few weeks ago with family. We were a bigger group (10 of us) and we didn't feel cramped. Great location.The night we went, there were only 2 bartenders who were also having to waitress. They definitely could have used some help. But our drinks kept us patient for the food. And they were doing the best they could running around all night. The kitchen is also a little slow but the food was good.So all in all, keep in mind the is a hangout spot. “Best Dairy Queen around! I live in Corpus but will not order anything from DQ here. The Portland DQ uses fresh oil, the gravy is thick and tastes really good. The fried food tastes the way fried food should! I highly recommend this DQ. Kudos to the owner and staff!“

A quaint little marina at the edge of Corpus Christi Bay. Music on the weekends, great little place to keep a bost or visit for a while.“
