Great BBQ place. Had the Roadkill Sandwich, with the ends of all meats, great taste. The crab stuffed jalapeno poppers are very tasty as well. My daughter enjoyed the pulled pork and my wife loved the baked potato with pulled pork.
Overall, the food was okay. My wife and I really enjoyed the corn and ham and I liked the gator balls pretty well, even though they felt overpriced for what we got, but the rest of the meat, especially the ribs, were dry and bland and the fries were limp and bland, as well. The margarita I had was good, the waitstaff was friendly, but the food, which is what you're really there for, left a lot to be desired.
We stopped by on our way back home from Colorado because we needed some Texas bbq. This is some of the best bbq we’ve had in a while. The jalapeno sausage, pinto beans and turkey is great. The brisket was a little dry but still good. My daughter loved the ribs and wife loved the Texas sandwich. The service was excellent! I recommend this place if you want some good bbq.
