This place makes some damn good food! The sweet tea IS like momma made it. Real nice people in a small town and they’ll make you feel right at home! We’ll definitely be stopping by again.

I didn’t check the hours and showed up an hour after they closed. The lady working there said she couldn’t turn me away hungry so she made me one of the best brisket sandwiches I’ve ever had.
I stopped by to get lunch and dinner while moving from coast to coast and I’m glad I did. The brisket was great, the sausage had a very good flavor and the perfect spice mix. The ribs and chicken were also really good and smoked perfectly. The mustard potato salad worked really well with the bbq and I cannot say enough good things about the blackberry cobbler. The service was fantastic and the decor of the eating area was very fun. If you live near Iraan TX, this should be your go to bbq joint!!!

Great BBQ. If you fly in to the municipal airport they now have a golf cart for the short drive Mesquite Wood BBQ.
