If you find yourself in Rankin TX and hungry, visit Ortiz Burritos. For breakfast, get the "Skyler" (named after my safety officer as it's the best thing he shared other than making our lives difficult) Brisket, Egg and Cheese taco. Get the hot sauce, just not on a day they are cooking it, for obvious reasons. Highly recommend. You will need napkins but thank us later. Chicken fried steak for lunch is great also. Double cheeseburgers are a staple as well. The Ortiz family definitely hooks it up and no hungry worker will be disappointed choosing Ortiz's for food. 10 for 10 recommend..

Really great burritos! We stopped here on our way to Big Bend and had the brisket burritos with salsa. Simple and delicious. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you find yourself out this way!

DELICIOUS! Just passing through on our way back to Austin and thought we’d try it out. The Guisado and Beef Brisket were so tasty. Very cozy mom & pop restaurant with friendly workers. Even my 1 and 3 year old liked it!
