This is hands down some of the best bbq I've ever had in my life. The burnt ends are perfect, brisket is exceptional, homemade beer bread is amazing, cobbler was outstanding. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and stop in!!!
I reached out to Salt Creek BBQ for a Brisket and Bread to take with me for Christmas Eve as we were traveling all the way to the other side of Texas and didn’t have time to make a meal upon arriving to our final destination. The Brisket, BBQ sauce and Bread did not disappoint! The family all loved it and kept talking about how good it was! THANK YOU SALT CREEK BBQ for making our Christmas Eve special !
Salt Creek BBQ has great food! We had the BBQ brisket mac n chess bowl, beer bread and blueberry cobbler. The experience was Southern hospitality at it's best. It's a little gem of a place off I-10 in Iraan, TX . Stop in and see Mike and Charlie - their hospitality will not disappoint.

Salt Creek BBQ is a hidden gem near Big Bend, offering a fantastic brisket grilled cheese sandwich and brisket Mac. They serve delicious desserts like apple, blueberry, and peach cobbler. The friendly atmosphere and excellent BBQ make it well worth the detour off I-10. Don't forget to sign the wall! The brisket is so tender with the perfect end pieces and just the right amount of fat. The brisket grilled cheese and mac and cheese brisket burrito are must-tries. The burnt ends are ridiculously good, and the beer bread is out of this world. The lovely couple that runs it are awesome people, and the customer service is very friendly.
