BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I change my review from 5 STARS to 1 STAR!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE.. RUDE BEHAVIOR OF THE STEWARDS. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Been to Andhra mess with my wife after lockdown for the first time to have a nice meal, but was shockingly disappointed with the changes in the dine-in location, and in food quality. Firstly the guy taking the order said we don't serve Thalis any longer but will get the curries and rice in a plate but it's gonna cost 18$. That was a total OFF for me!!!!! Secondly when the food was got after a 15 minute wait, you should look at the thali, the quantity of rice, the quality of the curries and veg bagara rice was totally DISGUSTING!!! FELT WHY DID I EVEN THINK OF COMING HERE FOR LUNCH IN FIRST PLACE. To start with veg biryani was not fresh, ocra Fry was dry cuz it was made a few days ago & was pre heated before serving. Drum stick curry was offered in 2 different bowls ( don't know if they feel customer would never notice or won't talk or say a word and would Chuck it all in and pay for their lame service). Drumstick curry was smelling like SKUNK WATER!!!! The most lame staff ever!!! When questioned about the freshness about the curries with the one who took the order ( short built guy), he said the manager is not available at the moment & when asked to get him over phone, he went inside & sent another one( curly haired guy) out & he said that he was the manager. Destroyed my appetite & my day!!! None of the pickles had covering, they were dry and was displaying mold at the corners. DISGUSTING MAINTENANCE & PATHETIC SERVICE!!! Look at the plate and the rice in the below attached pics. I wonder why the OWNER is trying to cover the flaws questioned by the customers. If you can't take criticism and better your services, no one would pay for your lame excuses and your greed. I was a frequent to AM almost every week starting from 2019 till the lockdown. I introduced the food to a lot of my friends who became a huge fans to AM's food. It used to be my first go to place when planned to eat out. BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. I would say, this is one of those few places that are serving pure Andhra spicy food. The best authentic tasting Andhra restaurant. Been to Andhra mess before and noticed tremendous change in the taste. Excellent quality food, upscale maintenance & extremely friendly staff. I would recommend this over other Indian restaurants and particularly those craving for spicy Andhra flavors. Saravana bhavan is for vegetarians, where as Andhra Mess is for both vegetarians and non vegetarians food lovers. Will be back to try the Banana leaf bhojanam and Mandi biryani. Thank you for the complimetary mango lassi. Much appreciated. Tried the South Indian non vegetarian thali. I liked the way the curries tasted. But I would suggest the chefs to make them little more spicy. Today I tried the Chicken Biryani Combo thali and it tasted amazing. Right amount of masala and perfect quality of biryani and chicken. Roti was soft and fresh. Just wow!!!

I have been a regular customer over here from 6 months. And I have placed an order Today through call as I always do to pickup but I never experienced this type of rude behavior from them (He might be the owner but I don’t know, just guessing because of his attitude). When I called the they said the order will be ready with in 15 to 20 min. But I have appeared there in 30 to just give them time or whatever and then they said it’s getting ready. Then after 10 minME: is it ready ?That guy: No, 2 minME: did say nothing and i was okay with that but againThat guy: I cannot gave you an order before cook right ? ( with an attitude )ME: who told you to not cool right after I ordered ?......After few conversations between me and himThat guy: I will not give you the order where yah the same time the chef appeared with my food.I said don’t treat a customer like this and I don’t wanna get an argument with you. Took the order as of course it’s my need.

We ordered their Non-Veg Thali, not even single dish they served tasted average. It’s a complete rip-off charged us $24 including service tax. This is one of the worst restaurant to eat Thali(veg and non-veg)We were charged 25$ for non veg and 17$ for veg Thali. The food and curries are totally tasteless and not worth the charge.First of all we never expected a Veg Thali without Sambar and the curd rice is disastrous. Its just like milk mixed with some rice and tempering. Total waste of the 17$.And non veg curries are the worst.Mutton curry is good and totally limited.Chicken curry tasted like its just cooked in lots of water with added spices and masala.Fish curry is the worst( I first thought it was sambar). Later realized it was fish and the taste was horrible.Pulav rice was good and limited but the white rice is totally stale and tasteless which is unlimited.I don't even know why the hell we are charged with 15% service tax.I would rate the restaurant zero(0) if i had the chance.

We have ordered Chicken Biriyani , Egg Biriyani and Veggie Manchurian on 10/30.Chicken Biriyani: was great. Pleasantly surprised by this dish. I would recommend.Egg Noodles: was okay.Veggie Manchurian: was hard. I wouldn’t order again.

We got a dum briyani and non veg thali. The food was salty. They had a very strange covid dining experience. They take you to a side room. The owner kept moving people around even after they've been seated awhile which made no sense since they didn't bother wiping it down once the people moved and other people were added to the table soon after. They charge 15% service charge regardless the number in your party. I wouldn't go back. It wasn't worth the price

I should say this is the best place for pulav..!! But never go with any of their desserts, as I ordered take out n added Home made Kulfi from there menu, it was surprising to see the 0.89$ kulfi “That too an expired one” n got charged for 4$ for each..!! Not my dessert place..!!!

The taste of the food is good but everything else is a one-star experience. With over a 1-hour wait for a thali in an almost empty restaurant. Then having to tell them that we're leaving because it's been too long. No soap in the bathrooms. You are shuffled through some side door when you eat there. The thali is $20 a head which is more expensive than any other restraint offering it.

This place is unquestionably one of the coolest place in the area. Always when I come there I am truly glad. They always keep their high standard service and the highest level of food they serve. You always win with this place. Very recommended.
Food was delicious. Mainly Kaju Kodi and Vijayawada Boneless Chicken Biryani. Try not to go with Avakai Biryani, it tastes minimal.

Food was tasty. Only thing, lot of items were missing in the veg thali and we werent given those items until we found about it by looking at other plates and asked about it.Poor service. No coordination between staff. Check all your items before you take to go order.

I definitely don't recommend this restaurant and especially goat fry biryani .Be aware of order check before leaving .They will give two tablet (capsule)size goat pieces with some masala and they will charge 15.15 for flavored rice . And one more comedy thing is they don't replace or exchange that biryani because GOAT is to costly for them . Check twice before leaving

I would not recommend this place, we ordered full veg meals and some of the food was spoiled when we asked the waiter he is saying this is what we have. And we ordered butter naan for kids after 30 mins waiter is coming and saying that we cannot make butter naan as we have too much of online order’s so we cannot make it. This is one of the worst place I have ever visited.

If I had a option to give zero rating I would love to do it , worst experience I ever had. I wouldn't suggest mandi at this place waste of money and waste of time. It almost took 1hr 30 min to get our order and honestly none of the item in the plate is good. Worst taste and too expensive almost paid $124 for mandi it's really not worth it, if someone really find a place with good taste it's worth it, but here I would say never try mandi and give your money to restaurant for free . If some one wants to dump their money order mandi.
