We go at least once a year. Food is always EXCELLENT! prices are on the rise, but if you want Beni's you have to pay!!
Celebrated my recent birthday at the restaurant. Overall, food and service were very good and we were blessed to have some good people at our table. Worth the trip.
The service was slower than normal but seems there were several guests who had unrealistic expectations. Carlos (chef) was good. Not a lot of tricks or gimmicks and didn't talk much. I will be very careful where I sit going forward. One guy at the table wanted to entertain everyone within 2-3 tables. Loud, crude, foul language, and simply rude. Not the table to celebrate a 15th birthday. The other couple seemed very protective of the seating space. So much so that they moved the plate from my place before we got seated. They had 2 open seats next to them but wanted to crowd our space. But once the person asked for steak sauce the mentality was clear. Food and service are still good, but this location isn't what it used to be.
I wanted to share feedback regarding our recent visit on November 11th. We made a reservation through OpenTable for 7:00 PM, but upon arrival, we were informed there would be an hour and a half wait. The hostess explained that reservations made through OpenTable do not guarantee a table at the designated time, which was surprising and disappointing. We were eventually seated close to 9:00 PM after being told we would be seated at the next available table, but several other parties were seated before us. Once seated, our server took our order and brought drinks, but never returned to check for refills. One guest never received her cocktail, though it was initially charged. Additionally, the cook's performance was below expectations compared to previous visits. While we understand that November 11th was Veterans Day and likely a busy day, better planning or limiting reservations could have helped avoid these issues.
Manny was an amazing cook as well as a great entertainer and Terrance did great for what he could with the traffic from Veterans Day he handled everything well.
Great food. Fine Chef. It was very disappointing that although we had a reservation, we had at least a 40 minute wait to be seated.
Food quality was ok however the portion sizes for the cost was not worth it at all. Also our server was very inattentive and mostly absent. I would much rather spend my $150 elsewhere.
The food is always amazing when we come here. This is the first restaurant I came to when I first moved to Texas and it's become a regular weeknight or celebration spot for us.
The 1st thing I smelled was Dirty, Sour Mop, mixed with YEARS of spills on disgusting carpet! I know exactly why you can barely see- to hide the filth. The place is understaffed, our waiter says it happens every weekend and he pays the price with bad tips. I share with the older white gentleman that his staff says he runs a poor restaurant and we waited at the table with NO DRINKS, not even water for 45 mins, at 1.5 hours, no apps or bar drinks. AWFUL birthday celebration only made ok, but a hustling waiter. It's a bad look for this once family owned brand. I guess the money goblins will run it into the ground.
I have always had a great experience. But this time I believe my shrimp was undercooked and got sick. I know it was not intentional, but I'm sure it could have been avoided.

I never write reviews because I really try to give employees the benefit of the doubt, but I can't ignore how horrible the service was at Benihana last night. We were celebrating my son's 16th birthday with a table of 13 people and I paid $700 at the end of it all, so was expecting better service than what we received. The hostess that greeted us was just plain rude when checking us in, but we were hoping that was just a small issue and things would improve. We were seated and it took about 15-20 minutes before our server (Alexia) to come ask for our orders. It then took additional 15 mins or so for drinks to arrive, but she forgot 3 people's drinks so she said she would return with them but never did. We didn't see her again for approximately 45 minutes and one of the chefs had to go track her down to get us drink refills (as well as to provide the 3 drinks that she originally never brought). In fact, one person in our group went to the restroom to drink water from the sink because the sushi appetizer he had ordered was spicy and he had no drink. The food was delicious, the chefs for our two tables were great. Finally, when the waitress came back to give us our bill (after not being present to actually serve us the entire time we were there), she had the audacity to tell my husband when she gave him the bill that she preferred her tip in cash not through the card machine. Overall, very disappointing experience.
Table is meant for 9, they crowded us with 11. The hibachi chef was not entertaining or engaging. We had 4 kids at our table and they had to ask him questions and try to get him engaged. We will never be back. If you just want overpriced under portioned food with zero entertainment then feel free to go and waste your money. We mentioned to the bar tender and the manager that our visit was not going very well. They did absolutely nothing about it. We paid $300 for a party of 4.
This was our first time at Benihana, and it couldn't have been a better experience! From start to finish, the atmosphere was lively, the food was fantastic, and the service really made it special. Our server, Terrance, was outstanding. He made us feel welcome right away and kept the evening fun by chatting with us about our fantasy football league — which made for such a great personal touch. He was also amazing with the kids, keeping them engaged and making sure they felt included the whole time. His timing, friendliness, and attentiveness made the night even more enjoyable. Our cook, Jose, was equally incredible. His energy, skill, and sense of humor brought so much fun to the table. Watching him cook was just as exciting as eating the delicious food he prepared — everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Overall, our first Benihana experience was memorable thanks to Terrance and Jose. They both went above and beyond to create a night full of fun, laughter, and great food. We'll definitely be coming back!
Did a reservation- took 15 minutes to seat us. Got our drinks, only drink for about a hour while apps came. Finally dude started cooking, and took about another hour. 2 hour experience for no service and MID food at best.
Worst experience we've had at Benihana, the food was actually terrible, I've never had a bad experience prior to this visit. Jose was our chef and seemed very inexperienced, I couldn't even stomach the filet.
