I don’t know why reviews of this place are so low, probably people are comparing from back home. Had chole bhature, chaat, tikki and gujiya. All were really good. Best chole bhature in dfw (Chandigarh se hoon toh taste maloom hai). Just one weird thing about the restaurant: for the size of seating/the restaurant overall, they had 3x the no of staff the required And even then, they are not offering table service. Bikanerwala in Irving is a great spot for vegetarian Indian cuisine. We were pleased with the food and flavors, especially their thali with a variety of curries and paneer raita—it was delicious! The chola bhatura, however, was just average. Despite being a bit crowded, the atmosphere was peaceful. Their fast foods like dahi patatas, chaat, and sweets are excellent and worth trying. A must-visit for vegetarians seeking authentic Indian tastes.
Preeti at Bikanervala is an excellent host. She assisted us in ordering delicious food and graciously accommodated our last-minute requests. Despite the 9:30 PM closing time, she ensured we were served hot and fresh food even after hours.
