Very rare to find a cafe that has both good drinks and good food. The chicken katsu sandwiches are a must!

I liked the good variety on the menu and plenty of parking.
I got the Mentaiko Pasta which was fairly tasty, balanced, and the bread that came with it was toasted and delish.
Also had the Curry Rice which was on the meatier end so not the typical Japanese sweetness which was a plus and the katsu.
All the portions were small for the average texan.
Strawberry Matcha Latte was quiet expensive considering adding oat milk made it $9.50, not the most amazing drink.
I would not try the items again, but would consider coming back to try some other things on the menu.
One of the best hojichas I've had. Spectacular customer service, good atmosphere and vibe. Highly recommend. Oh the matcha was also perfection.

Pork sando was delicious. Minimal ingredients (bread, pork, cabbage, sauce) and every part was tasty.

Honestly one of the worst katsu sando I’ve ever had and the worst matcha cookie I’ve ever had. The katsu was flavorless and super tough to eat. The matcha cookie was super dry and was bitter without any sort of sweetness. Would not recommend to anyone, especially considering the prices.

Food is good coffee is great.
Very nice place, the only thing is no WiFi. So just be aware of that if planning on working from there. But other than that it’s a great coffee shop.
Try the Sandos

Four items for $40 before tip. The only thing I liked was the coffee but felt queezy when I saw the dead roach on my way out in the corner. My sister couldn't finish her portions and I wasn't impressed by their avocado toast. Not worth the steep price in my opinion.

A little touch of Japan in Irving! This cozy cafe reminded me of Japan. The egg sando was similar to the ones you get from 7/11 in Japan! They have a wide variety of sando selections from sweet to savory. The matcha was excellent. It was the perfect balance of peach and matcha. If you’re needing your Japanese food fix, this is the place to go!
