If traditional lamp/goat meat is your thing, stop by on the weekends (Fri-Sun) and you won't be disappointed.
Best spot in town
10 out of 10. Wonderful food and great service!
Is verry no e place
One of the hidden gem in Dfw. Authentic Somali food. Service leaves a lot to be worked on. Good serving sizes
Friendly staff, food tastes good, I stop here every time I visit dallas, price is worth it
I have to be honest here, fellas I didn’t expect this kind food from here, but I’m glad I found this place ( In Shaa Allah ) I’ll definitely come back here soon 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Great food. Wasn’t wasting none of it. Good people. Hope to be back soon. Salaam 🤲🏾🇲🇦
First time eating at a Somali restaurant, wasn’t sure what to expect. This is what I can tell you, very tasty rice and very good lamb shank at a reasonable price. Nothing special about the atmosphere, it’s plain chairs and benches with some African ornaments on the wall. The place was very hot, I wonder if the AC was broken. It’s still tolerable to finish my lunch. The service is more like a fast food restaurant, very minimum, but the staff were friendly.
Im not one to ever wright negative reviews but I went to go buy sambusas from cafe Medina. Upon arriving I went to the guy in the front and asked for 10 sambusas. After I pay he starts shaming me for not tipping. Then I asked for some hot sause for the sambusas and he calls me “neede” after I get the sauce; which mind you isn’t at all enough for all the food, I asked for a couple more. He then Says “NO, and says to get out” and an angry yell. I used to love going to this place, and hate that I will never go again. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Great Somalian restaurant. Delicious food, friendly and attentive staff. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience awesome East African Food. You must get the Samusa and tea as well
Please don't judge a book by it's cover this place is amazing the food taste soooooo freaking good and the people are so kind and warm. My husband got the lamb which he loved and asked me to save this location for when we come back to town. I had the fish, which was fresh and well seasoned. Our first time trying Somali food and we fell in love.
Very delicious food. Must try. Try the mixed rice platter.
Was only in town for a week and decided to try this place because it was close to my office. Food was excellent and will definitely be back when I'm in town again. I had the rice with lamb and it was the best meal I've had in a long time.
